I stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening for dinner and I was surprised at how big the place was. Very spread out! I sat at the bar and had a couple of beers and shots with dinner. The tequila prices were fair as well as the food prices. Nothing special about either one though. I ordered chicken fajitas with pineapple and added cheese on top. The pineapple was very sparse as was the cheese, both of what I paid extra for. The portions were ok but nothing exciting to bring me back.

Top restaurant, welcoming, communication, flow of food and in between waiters checked on us constantly. All 7 at our table were appreciative of the whole food experience, we’ve been coming back for years, and we are picky ! I had awesome poblano and spinach done a certain way especially for me, I did not insist nor requested, I just asked only if is possible. The Manager and the Chef were perfect professional, well oriented and creative to fulfil my desire. You don’t find this in too many restaurants. 10 out of 10 ! All stars !

This restaurant is fantastic. We are regulars here and we are treated like friends. The food is always ready quickly and comes out hot! By far the best salsa of any restaurant we have been too. Food is authentic and delicious and prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an awesome Mexican meal.

Unfortunately wont be coming back to this location ever again due to the threating environment. Me and a friend went out for lunch before her class. I’ve been to la feista multiple times through out the years and never had an issue with food or nor ever needing to grab management. The server we had was really nice and checked in on us few times for our appetizer and drink refills. Only then when came the manger took our orders with out writing anything down. I got the burrito Rio grande and dont like lettuce, so I asked to please leave out the lettuce and he looked at me like he understood. My friend heard me asking for no lettuce aswell. When food came out lettuce was on the plate and thought maybe its just the side of it and wasn’t going to complain due to not having enough time from 12pm and needing to leave by 12:40pm to remake it. He asked if anything is wrong and I said no, assuming its just on the side of the burrito and not all inside. Hoping it wasn’t, it was all in the burrito so due to the lettuce I only ate the part to the top of it that wasnt touching the lettuce since I dont like the taste of it at all. A lot of the burrito was left due to lettuce touching others stuff and i knew it would leave a taste if were to take it apart and still eaten it. When the server came with a check, I apologize and asked if it was possible to get a partial discount because i asked for no lettuce and explain the situation i was in. (like half price since I still ate very little of it and knew I wasnt going to have time for it to be remade and didnt want to leave hungry.) Then server was nice about it and said he wasnt sure and he would asked his manager. The manager came and I explained the same thing to only be cut off by a surprising additude that was almost a yelling tone saying “you never asked for no lettuce”. I was very shocked and jarred by the way i was talked to by a manager. I looked at my friend and back not sure what to say or do because Ive never had a manager act like that way or never needed to ask a manger ever before when going somewhere, this was first ever having a issue on my own. I didnt want argue nor did my friend since we needed to leave and just said in a calm tone “that I asked i didnt want lettuce”. He said something but I couldnt understand due to me having auditory hearing processing, I couldnt make out the words other than him going to give a discount. Food ended up being about $43 and only discounted off for $3. I still gave a 15% tip due to the fact i didnt want to not give a tip to the server based on the manager actions. This situation put me in a very unsafe mental state were I dont like conflict like that and would’ve been much better if he could’ve responded “im sorry, I must’ve not heard that, let me fix that for you.” Even though im still grateful it was discounted somewhat it was still pricey for only eating about 30-40% of the food and only getting $3 off. I now feel unsafe to go back to this location knowing if this is what the manger is like. Unfortunately I did not grab a name but hopefully this will be investigated and wont happen again to other customers.

My family and I used to enjoy this restaurant but the past couple of times that we’ve been it’s been one issue after the other. The service is always bad if you get The one female waitress not only is she not attentive but she has a attitude. And then when they charge you for items that you didn’t receive they want to argue with you about it and make you feel like a liar.

First time here, I took food togo. Tried this place out for the first time and it impressed. Portion size and food taste great. Very rarely you find a place with quantity and quality. Looking to forward to me bringing the family over the holiday break.

This is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the Triad. Their salsa and Guacamole are unmatched! We used to live in Colfax and would visit at least 2x-3x a month – we moved to Browns Summit and have a Mexican restaurant within 10 min of us- but we have decided it’s worth the 30min drive every time to eat their delicious food! Look at the size of that Chile Relleno! Everything is so tasty and we won’t go anywhere else! ❤️

One can never have too many Mexican food options!
The environment was clean; it wasn’t cliche-Mexican decor; the bathroom was spotless; and the crew worked like a well-oiled team. They were friendly and we witnessed two parties who knew the servers; so it means it’s well worth a repeat visit!!

The food was really good. The service was slow for our table, but the group sitting adjacent to us was serviced and greeted often. Our salsa and chip bowls were empty, while also waiting on my drink that she’s holding in her hand while continuing to talk to the other table… What??
Jumbo margaritas for $7.95 daily. Pineapple was amazing. I will return for the drinks and maybe shared convo, but not for a sit down meal. I don’t feel we met the area’s criteria for better service. Again food and drink was great, just not happy with the service received or there lack of.

The service was excellent!! The waiter recommended the mojito and didn’t miss. Fajito nachos are a new favorite. The music was fun and we had a great time!!
