✨ Foodie friends, I found another hidden gem you must add to your list Roses On Adeline Bar & Kitchen in Berkeley! This spot has such a warm and inviting vibe, making it perfect for catching up with friends over cocktails or even hosting a private dining event.
Let’s talk food because everything here is a treat. I started with their cocktails, and wow they are so well-balanced and delicious, the kind that instantly sets the mood for the night. Then came the chocolate budino, and let me tell you… it’s pure perfection. The pistachio topping adds just the right amount of sweetness and crunch, making every bite unforgettable. ✨
If you’re into bold flavors, you have to try the oyster mushroom the taste is so unique and unlike anything I’ve had before. And of course, the star of the show for me was the double smash burger . Juicy, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. Honestly, it’s one of those dishes you’ll keep craving long after you leave.
But don’t just stop there their menu is full of variety, from small plates to hearty mains, so there’s truly something for everyone. Make sure you explore and try a little bit of everything when you visit, because this spot has so many flavors waiting to surprise you.
Whether you’re looking for a cozy night out, a new foodie adventure, or a place to host a special gathering, Roses On Adeline is that perfect hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Trust me, this spot is worth it! ✨

Roses is such a perfect date night place! But it would be great with friends too. It’s cozy and lively with a range of seating options — busy bar, main room and a lounge-y back room. Super friendly servers. Tasty food but I’d say it’s the combination of all the elements that makes it worth checking out.

A small food menu didn’t disappoint with big flavors and lovely presentation. Service was great and the bar makes solid drinks. Prices were a little high ($9 for a side of sweet potato friend, $4.50 for regular) especially for portions size, but quality was good. This won’t be a regular spot for food but I’d definitely come back to try again.

We went during happy hour on a Wednesday night. The cocktails that they offer on the HH menu were way too sweet even after I specifically asked that they put very little sirop. We both had to send the cocktails back. We both asked for a dirty martini as replacements. The bartender gave us regular martinis with no olive juice. We decided not to say anything.
We ordered the sausage on a bun and vegetables plate. They were decent in taste. The accompaniments were good. French fries were also tasty.

Takes guts to open a restaurant in Berkeley where expectations are so high. After dining at Rose’s I can see why they had the confidence to do so! Ate at the bar because no reservation and the place was already popping at 5:30 on a Friday. We went all veg, and everything was outstanding. Tofu lettuce cups had big crunchy cubes of tofu and lots of hot peppers. Pasta did not sound good to me on the menu, yet was melt -in-your-mouth delish. My favorite thing was the charred cabbage with crispy mushrooms and just fantastic sauces. Even the crudite with hummus, totally worth it. We all liked our cocktails, draft beer, and glasses of wine. Can’t wait to go back with meat eaters and dig further into their menu.

The food was great! We had the house salad, and even though the kitchen forgot a key ingredient (oops!) the salad was exceptional, and we atE the whole thing before we remembered to mention it. We also had the pasta, and the budino. The atmosphere was delightful, our waitress was attentive, and the bartender was as reward winning as advertised.
The forks were also comically large, which I personally enjoyed.
We’ll be back!

Great for sharing, although they do also have mains. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. They have amazing cocktails and n/a non alcoholic drinks which were wonderful!
Plus beers and wines and even slushies.
The crispy tofu was great and the chocolate mousse was terrific.
I’m so happy to have this new spot in the neighborhood, close to several bars and cafes.

Why was the cabbage so good? She stole the entire table. Pleasantly fried & juicey chicken sandwich- not spicy but very well seasoned with a nice lil kick. Great burger- it’s what I came for & I shall return to it; the sauce alone. Sweet potato fries at NO UPCHARGE!!!!! And yes, the bevvies are worth it. Ask your bartender for their preference and please do tip where able!

Good cocktails and nice atmosphere. We had the burger, fries, and fried chicken sandwich. The burger and fries were tasty. Only giving 4 stars because the fried chicken sandwich was quite bad. We never send food back, and actually had to send this sandwich back because we could not eat it. Even after they removed the slaw, which tasted like soap, the sandwich was still not very good. That being said, everything else was good and will definitely come back

We are SO thrilled to have more food spots in South Berkeley, and this place is a gem. The food was delicious with generous portions. I know they’re planning on expanding the menu too. The cocktails were fresh and fun with names that nodded to the Berkeley location. The service was top notch (our waitress, Lucy, used to work in fine dining). The restaurant is lovingly designed with beautiful details, fun colors, and comfy booths.
We kind of ordered everything so we could sample the menu: fries, oyster mushrooms, ROA house salad, halibut ceviche, fried chicken, and Blood Orange Sherbet. For drinks we had the Bees of Berkeley (loved the honey brittle!), Adeline Spritz, and Seasonal Smash.
