I stopped by Rose’s Chinese Restaurant to try their lunch special and was very impressed. I ordered the Shrimp fried rice with a spring roll and chicken teriyaki with Chicken and rice soup, and everything was served in a generous portion. The beef was tender and coated in a rich sauce that had the perfect blend of savory and slightly sweet flavors. The fried rice was well seasoned and light, without feeling oily. It was a satisfying and delicious meal that I would gladly enjoy again.

So, Rose’s Chinese Restaurant in Bensenville Illinois is a hidden gem! The food is phenomenal and tastes. The owner is a five-star chef who used to work in a five-star restaurant in downtown Chicago and now has his own place. If you ever had General Tso’s Chicken you need to try their General Tso’s Shrimp!! Yes, I said SHRIMP!! OH MY GOSH! Talk about a melt in you mouth moment!! Yummmm E. They do have lots of other food choices too. My husband has tried some of them and said everything hes had there has been delish. So if your ever in Bensenville Illinois you have to try this place out. Shout out to the Chef for his positive attitude, and always smiling! His warmth is a note to how good his food really is.
PS. I do have permission to post these pictures from the owner.

The moment I walked in felt it off, I ordered food to stay he ain’t let me get the take out menu only the dine in menu prices was altered chicken broccoli with white rice $16.40 but when he went to the back I got the takeout menu the same order was $14.26 for large. Im still give it a try even though it’s pricey the food comes out the rice was very small and the chicken as well mostly vegetables and to top it off that chicken was pale as hell no soy sauce.. the order plus can of coke 20 dollars and change im good I didn’t even take a sip or a bite got up and walked away……im not giving away my money just because sorry never in my life I’ve done that I’ll eat and pay and won’t come back but this was straight up blatant disrespect im good ✌

Staff was very friendly! Food was probably some of the best Chinese food we ever had. The portions are HUGE and were still just as good leftover. We got: Small Eggdrop Soup, Egg Roll, Sesame Chicken, and Hunun Shrimp.

Visited Rose’s Chinese Restaurant for their lunch special and got the fried rice, Mongolian beef, and a spring roll. The portion was generous and satisfying. The Mongolian beef had a nice balance of savory and sweet with tender slices of beef. Fried rice was flavorful and not too greasy. The spring roll was crispy and a great starter. Solid value for a lunch combo; quick, filling, and tasty!

Their sweet and sour (plum) sauce deserves its own review. If you dine in, you get the house-made plum sauce — and it is incredible. Smooth and lightly fruity (almost apricot-like), it has a fresh fruit sweetness — not syrupy, gummy, or artificial like the usual packets. It completely elevates the egg rolls. If you order takeout, make sure to ask for the plum sauce instead of the packets — trust me, it’s worth it.

Have had a bunch of times. Not worth the price any more. They cut the portions back. Bbq pork was only half container. Called about it and the lady did not understand. Guy got on and just seemed like he did not care. Just opened my lunch, 9 small pieces of beef and half the container of onions. So tired of all these restaurants jacking prices and cutting back on proteins. All of them are doing it but Rose’s seems to be the worst of them. Don’t recommend…..

This place feels like home! The owners always remember what I order. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and I come here at least once a week. Tried the Curry Chicken Fried Rice today along with my usual Sesame Chicken—both were great. Highly recommend!”

First time in today. The food was fresh and delicious. They brought me their homemade hot and sweet sauce and they were fantastic. The General Tso chicken, fried rice, and egg roll were top notch. The service and conversation was on point, also. Great people and we will be back regularly, for sure!

Great food and friendly, welcoming service.
We love traveling in this general region and trying different restaurants. We were craving Chinese and decided to give Rose’s a try. So glad we did! We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered several different dishes: sesame chicken, shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice, BBQ ribs, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. Everything tasted fresh and I especially loved the sesame chicken which had a nice crispness and good flavor. The egg rolls were also the best peanut butter egg rolls that we’ve tried in the Chicago area so far.
We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
