Finally made the trip up there (from Biloxi) to try this place out. Bought a little bit of everything to try.
1 Smoked half chicken, AWESOME Full of flavor and done just right.
2 Ribs I liked that they are a dry rib, leaving it up to you if you want sauce or not. Had decent flavor, a little dry though.
3 Brisket Nicely done, moist and good flavor.
4 Sausage WAY OVER COOKED to the point it was mush (forget about having a snap to it) and had very little flavor at all.
5 In talking to another regular customer there, he gave me a piece of his fried chicken…OMG GREAT flavor and was really juicy… NICELY done.
6 Mac n cheese really thick cheese sauce, it was ok.
7 Sweet tater fries really good.
Over all I will be back, for the Brisket, Fried Chicken, and Smoked Chicken.
Not many of theses little hole in the wall places left.

We stop in every time we are in the area. Highly recommend the beef brisket sandwich. It is awesome. Also, their sweet tea and carrot cake are amazing. Second best is the brownie with a close second being the peanut brittle. If you don’t want to eat and drive there are a few clean tables inside. Don’t let the full parking lot talk you out of stopping in, you will miss out.

Don’t come here, unless you plan on taking a nap afterward. The food took a while, but everything is homecooked. Tenders were a little dry, but the smoked meats don’t mess around. A little chaotic as far as parking and setup are concerned. Overall, 4/5 stars.

Honestly I had high hopes for our second visit. The first time we stopped here, we were so impressed with the prices and the amount of food, we almost questioned if they charged us correctly. We stopped here again since we were traveling through the area, and boy was it a huge disappointment. $16.99 for a brisket sandwich plate with “1/4” pound of brocket that was so small it didn’t even cover the width of the bun. Also potato salad that is store bought from Sam’s club. Very disappointing.
