The espresso martini was super good pretty sweet how I like it.
Please note that they would ask you what type of vodka you want so be prepared. As a first time drinker, I just get my martinis as it is—I’m not specific so want to give a heads up to that.
If you don’t like it too strong communicate that because I did get an espresso martini and the vodka they gave me was STRONGG, but the second time it was suttle and super tasty. All in all it’s a to each its own.
Secondly their food that I had was tasty and spicy. I had the rigatoni. My brother had the Cacoi e Pepe. His was not as saucy as I WOULD—emphasizing I, as I would like it to be and then he had little strips of chicken. Not sure how that works, if it comes with it to the side or if he ordered it, but that was something I noted.
The food was okay- the ricotta appetizer and chocolate torta were the best things we had. The server got our order of gluten free pasta wrong – even though we mentioned it, and was talking badly about our table to another server behind our back. They didn’t apologize or offer to compensate us, just made comments on the side between servers.
Overall, atmosphere was great but I think the food is overpriced and the service could be a lot better.
They have other places and you have to try it
The decor and ambience is beautifully the same, including the gorgeous tile on the wall behind the bar. It’s even on a corner like the one downtown. The service here was also on point, with a knowledgeable, friendly wait staff.
We started with the Tuscan Kale salad. It had brussels sprouts, apples, parmegiano and turmeric dressing. It was very good. I usually order pasta, but decided to try their pizza instead. I had the Stinger, probably the best pizza ever: Soppressata with honey and mozzarella. I can’t even describe the crust, except to say that it was soft, delectable chewy and divine . My friend had the rigatoni and ate every bite. She drank red wine and I had a Hugo Spritz (they make all kinds of really lovely spritzes. Right now, i’m digging the Hugo after discovering it in Milan last year. The Rosemary’s version was equally as tasty).
I can’t say enough good things about Rosemary’s, except that I cannot wait to go back and that you should go too.
