Rosemarie’s is our new favorite restaurant! From the moment my family and I stepped in we were welcomed in like it was their home. The food was amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and splurged by ordering appetizers, entrees, Shirley temples for the kids and dessert with cappuccino! It was a cozy restaurant, with attention to details, the chef checked in with us to make sure we were happy and we left with enough food for another whole meal at home. We can’t wait to tell others about this gem and go back! Che bontà!

Food / service was awesome !
*However, be prepared that you will get your food IN takeout #plastic containers to eat hot food out of !?.. or get paper plates for pizza. Pizza was simple, but good, but would’ve been much better if offered Whole #Wheat Dough.. was a touch bland, but rolls had a good flavor. The fish entre was fabulous, BUT sat in a pool of butter (high sat fat ) that would’ve dissipated if on a large porcelain plate.
Have had takeout before and deserts were also GREAT.

I am so thankful I had the opportunity to eat at Rosemarie Cucina‘s wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious, the service and genuine care were distinct from all the other restaurants I’ve ever visited. I’ve never left a review before ever and simply because of the wonderful experience I felt compelled to share and encourage others to give Rosemarie Kachina’s a try you will not be disappointed.

Grab a bottle of wine and come here for some home-style Italian food, just like grandma used to make. Everything is excellent, I had the Sunday gravy special, linguini w/ meatball, pork and sausage, everything cooked perfect and melded together. My girlfriend had the veggie lasagna and loved it. Be sure to finish off with a dessert and some espresso or cappuccino. The cannoli are fresh filled and melt in your mouth. Everything here is done to perfection and with love. Meals are served in a to go container but with the generous portions, you will likely be taking some home anyway.

The food was delicious, the service and sweet care were distinct from all the other restaurants I’ve ever visited. And I’ve probably been to 30+ Italian restaurants in my life, this is top 3. The owner Maria makes you feel at home from the moment you step in AND Chef Paul is the best, not only food is delicious but very accommodating! Super talented! Will definitely look forward to come back again. Thank you so very much for a delicious dinner.

So let me start off by saying I am the product of Italian immigrants from Naples. I was raised on old world cooking from the old country. I don’t call mozzarella MUZZ, I call it mozzarella. I grew up in Bensonhurst in Brooklyn. I speak Italian and love my culture and the fact that my family expresses love through cooking and getting the family together for meals. All that being said, this incredible little hidden gem nestled right in Clinton was the most wonderful surprise since moving out here. I found it completely by accident by strolling through the town and met the chef, Paul. Paul was kind enough to tell me about himself and his love for cooking. There’s something you can immediately pick out with a chef. Their passion. Paul wasn’t doing this for a pay check, you can tell that his true love in life is cooking. It really reminded me of how my grandfather (also a chef) used to talk. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Marie, and she also told me a bit about herself and how the restaraunt was named after her mother. She’s the pastry chef and the face of the front of house of the restaraunt. Again, the passion was evident, and the kindness was beyond incredible. So after meeting them I decided to immediately make a reservation for the following Friday for the wife and I. Fast forward to that Friday and we were warmly welcomed. So here’s the reason why I brought up my upbringing, when I tried their food, I was blown away. Truly, I can’t stress it enough, that first bite of the crab cake sent me through the roof with how delicious it was. Crispy on the outside and flaky and full of flavor, it really blew away my expectations. Then came the risotto balls. Again, blown away. We also got to try Marie’s fresh baked dinner rolls and they instantly transported me to my 6 year old self eating my mom’s semolina dinner rolls and I knew right then and there that this place was special. I then topped off with a main entree of the filet mignon and my wife and the rigatoni in vodka sauce. The meat was seared to perfection (I like my steaks medium rare) and the vegetable medley it came with tasted fresh and cooked beautifully. The port base of the dish was incredible and married everything together beautifully. Chef Paul is truly an artist with his cooking, Marie and her bread and kindness reminded me of my own Italian upbringing, and as cliche as this will sound, Marie and Paul and their cooking truly made me feel like I wasn’t out eating, but rather enjoying a meal at a family home. I can’t even begin to express how good the food was, how it made me feel right at home with my own family, how their kindness, warm demeanors and absolute attention to detail shown brightly in each and every dish. It’s laughable to say that I went home full and very happy. Probably one of the best Italian cuisine I’ve had in my life. They made my wife and I lifelong customers with that one meal, and I know that I’ll be visiting with other friends and family for years to come. If you’re looking for a low key, comfortable and relaxed place to eat with your family where you will be literally treated like family and enjoy AUTHENTIC Italian food without the useless frill, do yourself any favor and go to Rosemaries Cucina (Rosemaries kitchen for those that don’t speak Italian haha) I promise you will not be disappointed. And don’t forget to try Marie’s cannolis, they’re the best I’ve ever had and would bet anyone who knows a good connali that they won’t find better. Marie, Paul, if you see this review, thank you from the bottom of my heart for serving us such an amazing meal and an unforgettable experience. As I’ve said before you guys made my wife and I lifelong customers, and more importantly, friends and family! We’ll see you soon! Buon fortuna!!!!!

(I would’ve added a photo of the beautiful plates of food we ate earlier in the night, but any Italian worth their salt isn’t wasting time on photos, we were hungry and went right to work haha!)

This little Italian restaurant feels like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home. It’s unpretentious, and has a small town-intimate feel with about 5 tables in the restaurant.

The menu is filled with authentic home-style Italian meals. Everything was delicious- from the bread, to the rice balls, and the chicken cutlets. The red sauce and pasta were fantastic, and the side of zucchini alone was incredible. This restaurant feels like they are sharing their old family recipes with you.

The pastries were the perfect way end to the meal. Home-made cannoli, both the shell and the filling made daily. Without a doubt the best I’ve eaten. I should have ordered some to bring home, along with the sfogliatelle.

This restaurant is truly a gem. And while the food is served on paper plates or take out containers- it just makes it easier to bring whatever leftovers you may have home with you.

My husband and I had the most wonderful time at Rosemarie’s Cucina when we visited for the first time this past Saturday! The food from start to finish was perfect! You can see Chef Paul preparing everything while you wait! The homemade, warm, delicious rolls were a wonderful start! We shared the Mozzarella Frito as an appetizer. My husband had the Pesto Grilled Chicken Pizza and I had the Gnocchi and Chicken in a Pesto Sauce. We also shared a piece of homemade, delicious chocolate cake for dessert! Everything we ate was delicious! It was so much food that we took half of it home. Not only was the food amazing, the atmosphere was charming and so comfortable. It was like being in Marie and Paul’s home kitchen. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in! Marie and Paul were so very friendly and we had such wonderful conversations throughout our dinner! We will definitely be back!
If you’re reading this review and considering Rosemarie’s Cucina, don’t wait! Make a reservation and go!

A wonderful, local, family owned restaurant. delicious food, classic jazz music in the background, outdoor seating if you wish. It’s a very small kitchen, so mostly disposable plates but real silverware and quality wine glasses and that’s what counts to me. I did not try the baked desserts, but they looked wonderful. Prepare to spend some time there because all the food is cooked to order.
