We had an incredible dining experience at Rosélys! We made our reservation same-day and the staff was still able to accommodate us seamlessly. From start to finish, everything felt like fine dining at its best; elegant, intentional, and flavorful.

We opted for the Carte Blanche 5-course experience with wine pairings, and it was absolutely worth it. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated, truly Michelin star quality. The flavors were rich and refined, and the wine pairings elevated every bite.

Special thanks to our server, Jean, who was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening feel extra special. The staff also surprised us with a sweet honeymoon dessert plate, which meant a lot.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic or celebratory dinner in the city!

Treat yourself and go have a drink at the bar. Allessa is lovely and got us settled in when we came in tired after a long day of exploring in the cold. Stephane is a wonderful bartender and host. He makes tasty cocktails and will take good care of you! He helped us plan our evening dining with some great recommendations. Try the charcuterie board too!

Had dinner here during my stay at the Fairmont and it was good but not amazing. The Icelandic Cod was my favorite because the kohlrabi milk foam was very tasty and unique. But for $55, it seemed a bit overpriced. Their breakfast buffet, however, was much better because it included a made-to-order omelet station. I don’t know how much it is normally, but it was included in my hotel stay.

Icelandic Cod 8/10
Shorthorn Beef Burger 7/10
French Onion Soup 6/10
Grilled Octopus 7/10

I stayed at the hotel for a week and came to this restaurant frequently. The service was outstanding; the staff at the bar were extremely friendly and pleasant. The food was excellent. The pasta with shrimp in the foto… OMG! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We chose Rosélys to celebrate our son’s 7th birthday with a special afternoon tea. It was close to our hotel and the website mentions a kids menu, which made it seem like a good fit.

The hostess was warm and welcoming and seated us in a comfortable booth. That was the highlight of the experience and the reason for the two stars.

Unfortunately, everything after that fell short. Our server took quite a while to come over with the tea sample, and by the time he did, we had already read the full menu and were ready to order. When we asked about the kids afternoon tea, his response was dismissive. He told us there was no kids option, just a smaller version of the adult one. (even if this was mentioned in their website)
When I asked for a tea recommendation for my son, the answer was simply, “Whatever you want, Madame.”

The service felt rushed and indifferent, which was disappointing, especially given that this was meant to be a birthday celebration. The tea arrived first, and the rest of the food came much later. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and poorly paced.

We also noted in our reservation that it was our son’s birthday, but there was no acknowledgment at all. We weren’t expecting anything extravagant, just a bit of care or recognition.

This was meant to be a special moment for our family, and sadly, it didn’t feel special at all.

Well… we dine out often and at many levels of sophistication and also of ease and fun! We arrived for my birthday celebration. I had looked through AI and the restaurant was highly recommended. We we excited for our experience. It started out nicely, waited spoke to us, shared his favorites, however it took a turn when he took my husbands order only and I was calling to him my appetizer order as he was walking away. All guests orders should be taken before the waiter leaves. Later moving forward some of the food came out, he told me the veggie dish I ordered was a beef dish. He then later returned with the veggies and then later 10 mins he came back with the cold dish he had taken and served it to my husband. I understand if the restaurant is busy but it was slow on a Tuesday evening. Anyways we would have ordered coffees etc but we sat for 20 mins with no attention. They brought out my husband’s dessert from his prix fix menu and no birthday celebration was brought out. Sooooo disappointing after we specifically called and shared we were coming in to celebrate. The food was lovely but the service was poor. If you were treated correctly I would recommend this restaurant.

I visited Rosélys at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth while traveling from Phoenix, and it exceeded my expectations! It was a busy day in Montreal, but my server, Jean, was incredibly accommodating. They quickly found me a spot and provided attentive, knowledgeable service throughout the meal. He really made the experience feel special.

The food was absolutely delicious, highlighting fresh, local ingredients with beautiful presentation. I enjoyed a full course (entrée and main), and it came to around 150 CAD, which felt very reasonable for the quality and refined setting.

The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, with that perfect mix of French sophistication and Montreal charm. Thanks again to Jean and the team. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the city!

5 stars and highly recommend for a standout bistro meal.

First time trying the Breakfast Buffet on a weekend. It was busy and had to wait a bit. It’s worth the wait. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lots of food choices but my fave was the Eggs Benedict. The breakfast was perfect and will definitely come back ❤️❤️

Went for afternoon tea on Valentine’s day. Our waiter was friendly when taking our order, but did not come to check on us even one time, which was a shame, because my partner and I both wanted more tea.

Giving it 2 stars because the ambiance was nice, but unfortunately the customer service was non-existent.
