Food was just OK. I had high expectations but it was nothing special. Portions were very small. I got an end cut prime rib and it was the size of a small pork chop and very thin. Tasty but small. Great service. The inside is very dated. Seemed like lots of regulars were dining when we were there. Carrot cake was delicious, we got a very large piece but it was expensive. The tossed salad was a joke seriously. Very small and mostly lettuce.

We arrived during a busy time so we were able to get a table in the bar. Our servers were very kind and attentive- NO problems!
I ordered a prime rib cut, MR, (no pepper), mashed potatoes and hubby ordered the chops. Mine came out very rare so I did send it back, as well as the potatoes being too cold. I got the same food back, and warmer. I would rather any beef be sent to me on the rare side so it can be cooked more to my preference.
I also ordered a shrimp cocktail and a side salad. The shrimp were firm, perfect texture, no slime, and had NO odor, so perfect. I use ketchup instead of cocktail sauce. They were great.
The side salad was $5 extra-iceburg “lettuce” which is base pieces of stem- it is clearly used in caesar salads. So it had lettuce, a cucumber slice and small tomato wedge. This was not worth the $. For $5 EXTRA, they easily could have used a spring mix, 2 or 3 tomato wedges, 2 cucumber slices, a sprinkle of cheese and some house croutons would have been a better salad and they still would have made a few bucks per plate. It was an expensive dinner, but worth it, overall.
We did not get to see the dining room, so I cannot comment on that. The bar was a bit noisy, but it was a bar! Everyone seemed comfortable and happy.
The bar and RR’s were clean enough. The decor was dark wood and vintage to antique.
Over all, I would give it a 4.8.
Sorry, no photos from Rosie’s this time. I have included a beach photo!

I went on a Wednesday night with friends — the wait was minimal. My steak was cooked perfectly & the fried shrimp were wonderful. One of the staff members who kindly collected my plates (I believe I got his name Eric — tall with light brownish hair) is very handsome & should be in a movie. Highly recommend this place for wonderful food and amazing staff!

Rosebud’s is a family owned steak and seafood house. It opened in the 90’s. Offering Dine-in, takeout and a bar. Reservations are recommended. Warm cozy atmosphere with certified angus beef. From prime rib to seafood, to duck and lamb there is something for everyone. We started with fried Calamari and marinara for the appetizer. I ordered the old fashioned pecan bourbon, it was nice and stout! Lamb Shanks was my main course they were cooked very well and tasted fantastic. I tried the steak salad my wife had and my daughters prime rib, both were excellent. House salad was a bit plain but not bad. The linguini was delicious. The bar is typically very busy and they are closed Mondays. Prices were slightly expensive but certainly worth it.

We’ve lived in the area for years and finally had dinner at Rosebuds and wow, what a great experience! The atmosphere was cozy, the service was excellent, and the steaks were absolutely delicious. The lobster tail wasn’t quite what we expected, but they kindly comped it without hesitation. The cocktails were top-tier, and the desserts? Easily the best we’ve ever had. The mile-high carrot cake and chocolate peanut butter cake were so good but as amazing as everything was, the hot fudge cheesecake stole the show. Hands down one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. We will be back to try the prime rib.

We had a party of 9. They easily accommodated us. The food was delicious and arrived quickly! I got prime rib and my husband got lamb chops. Both meals were delicious! Our service was great. They took care of us and cleared the table as entrees came out and were finished. Kids meals were good sized and even came with a dessert. They loved it.

We went on a Saturday night around 7:30 PM. It was busy at first, then calmed down later. The atmosphere was cozy and had that classic Midwest-style steakhouse feel.
Service was great—friendly, attentive, and the place was clean.
The food overall was just okay. My steak was fine but lacked flavor. My wife had shrimp and wasn’t too impressed. The calamari was average. On the other hand, the oven potatoes with bacon were very good—probably the best part of the meal.
But the real highlight was the dessert tray. I had two—tiramisu (just okay) and the triple chocolate peanut butter cake, which was AMAZING.
In the end, the service and desserts really stood out. It might be a fun place to go with friends, but probably not our top pick for a date night. Honestly, the only reason I’d go back would be for that cake and maybe the potatoes.

What a great place to go on a date night. From the low-key elegant decor to the service, Rosebud’s is well-worth a visit. My wife ordered the bacon-wrapped filet mignon and baked potato and was very happy with its flavor and how it was cooked. My New York strip was also cooked exactly how I like it and the vegetables of the day, green beans and carrots, were really yummy. Topping it off was the bread, which was fresh and crisp. Our server had a good laugh as we joked with her over our asking for a third mini-loaf. Speaking of Julia, our server, she was very polite, friendly, attentive, and she rattled off the specials from memory, while others I noticed were reading them off a slip of paper. I know I probably could not remember all five or six items on special, so definite kudos to her for taking time to learn them. Even if you are not going on a date night, Rosebud’s also boasts a nice bar area complete with tables and televisions.
I would also recommend reservations (bar area is open seating, per the hostess) as Rosebud’s is a favorite of many, and is usually very busy.
