It’s a cute little vibe. Music isn’t too loud so you can hold good conversation, lots of seating available, and the drinks were amazing. I’ll definitely be there again for a post-dinner drink.

It’s a perfect place to go for a cocktail and talk to friends. You have to make a line for the entrance, because the place is a little small, there is not enough space for many people.
The cocktail menu is small and they don’t have food, but they should have at least some charcuterie, or dips, some tickets to make the stay more enjoyable.
The attention despite the fact that there are many more people to attend, it seemed acceptable to me, the waitress very friendly.

Excited for this speakeasy kind of spot to be open in downtown Raleigh at the former home of Fox Bar. Great set up with starting off in the conversation pit before moving to the bar or table. Great music and overall atmosphere to enjoy a very well made cocktail. I had the Yojimbo Highball, the server told me was made with Suntory Toki Whisky, and it was a well balanced refresher with hints of citrus and subtle spice & smoke. The range of customers at the bar was nice to see and helped me feel comfortable and at ease.

Beautiful ambience, high-end without feeling posh. I’ve been a few times since opening, I feel like this is a prefect hide away for those who want luxury and something different. Service was refreshing, drinks were even more so. The bartender (his name was Jonah I think) guided me through some of the cocktail list and even told me about the history of some of them. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing atmosphere, I love MCM, but this place is just weird.. We waited in line for about 20 minutes which is fine.. it’s a new establishment, of course it’s busy! We finally get downstairs and are waiting at the bar for drinks. A waitress came over to ask for our order, so we asked for menus. We see some girls walking away so ask them if it’s okay if we sit there we were sitting, they said we can. After sitting down, another employee comes over and asks us if we checked in. No one told us we needed to check in. She says it’s going to be about 50 minutes because of the “waitlist” but we can stand around the hostess stand (?) or sit in the “conversation pit” which is totally full of people because she “missed us”. We already waited in line, but apparently we needed to wait again? It seemed we couldn’t even wait near the bar, but needed to wait near the middle of the floor in the way of everything. We left and headed to a clearer bar because it was clear they were not going to seat us. Unfortunately, just a weird policy. I really wanted to enjoy a drink+ here and rate it higher than one star, but just sharing this so others know what to expect.

Listen ladies, make your man bring you here!! We came on opening day for Valentines day and it was so perfect! The music was great and I loved the Japanese cocktail! This is definitely well needed for the Raleigh area. Between this and The Capulet beautiful places!

Huge thanks to Jonah, the Bartender! This place is awesome. The bartender really saved the day. I showed up before my date and needed some moderate preparation before proposing to my girlfriend and Jonah was on point. The night was perfect. The place is beautiful and the cocktails are unlike anything around Raleigh. Such a sweet spot.
