Been here a few times recently and my partner and I love it! The food has been solid each time good burgers and fries are seasoned real well. Live music is a huge plus and the bartenders are incredibly nice and accommodating. Wish I lived closer to make this my to go spot!

My second time here. I want it a good club sandwich so I decided to give this place a try I wasn’t as disappointed as thought I will be. Nice portions and good flavor. It need swiss cheese and more mayonnaise but overall the food was good!

Stopped here for a quick bite on our way home from St Helen’s and had the BEST experience. The owner Don is so friendly and personable. We had some good conversations about The Grateful Dead and he actually showed us some genuine memorabilia and I would 10/10 recommend a stop here to anyone. I would even go out of my way as a Dead fan to experience the atmosphere. The food was delicious, great portions, and came out quickly.

Well, that was an experience… My heart goes out to the poor woman trying to run the place solo. You absolutely cannot be a cook, a server AND a bartender and give any kind of decent service or food. If you’re that short staffed stick her behind the bar, let everyone walking in know that there is no table service and to order from the bartender, and only offer a limited menu so the single person manning the kitchen can keep up. I’ve worked in the industry for many years and it was a terrible experience to watch her absolutely kill herself running around trying to do it all. There were 3 families and maybe 5 people at the bar. They weren’t even busy yet. The band was just starting to set up. She probably had an absolutely terrible night after it got busy. Those are the nights you cry on the way home and question if it’s worth it. Take a second and figure out how to adjust and adapt if you don’t have anyone to work. Our food was terrible and it took at least 30 minutes to snag her long enough to run our credit card so we could try and leave. Girl, you were doing the best that you could and not set up for success.

By far our favorite place in the general Portland area. The owner Don is so kind and runs a great establishment. There is live music Wed-Sun every week and the bands are so fun to listen to. The outdoor patio where the band plays is covered and heated, but you can watch the livestream from home or listen from inside the bar as well. The waitstaff is very attentive and the food is great. Highly recommend the firehouse burger and tots if you like spicy!! Stop by here if you wanna have a good time with better people.

This place always has great music any time of the day. Very nice staff. And I will say that the vegetarian lasagna is the absolute best lasagna I have ever had and I normally eat meat lasagna. They’re open late and it fits with my swing shift schedule.
