We sat there for 25 minutes before a waiter with a French accent finally asked if we were being helped and I said no. I ordered a margarita and it was delicious… what I didn’t like is that we were ignored for such a long time..and the young hostess in the front said we weren’t able to order from the kitchen right when we came in and we said ok that’s fine. I then over heard the couple next to us still ordering caviar and lobster rolls and stuff while we got ignored lol. I guess my boyfriend wearing a turban wasn’t useful in this situation lol but still I’ve never experienced such poor service. Wouldn’t come back just for that.
Update to reply to the business: Actually yes I have a time stamp of 20 minutes. We sat down before the couple next to us they ordered food and they weren’t told the kitchen was closed like we were. I heard them ordering so I don’t know why you’re not being truthful. We waited a very long time everyone was just staring at us including the waiters, please be truthful and admit your wrongs as a business. The French waiter looked embarrassed but was still very kind, he ended up speaking to the manager for us and said we could still order but at that point I didn’t even want anything anymore!! ALSO: I wanted to sit at the bar but the old couple ( a bald man and his wife) said this spot was taken even though no one even ended up sitting there. What a shame… and just because I don’t know exactly what they ordered means I’m lying. I heard them ordering their drinks and food and they were not told the kitchen was closed like we were at the front!! Just ask the French waiter who took care of us that night! He asked if we had been helped and he could tell I was annoyed which led him to asking the manager if we could still order from the kitchen. If you look through my reviews you’d know I review with 100% honestly but it was TERRIBLE service and you trying to deflect everything I say does show some guilt. Thank you, my boyfriend didn’t say anything but I will!! Rose Room was SO MUCH FUN Friday night. Our cocktail waitress Ashley was sweet & attentive, and DJ XCEL played all the best tunes. We danced 2 hours straight! Fun vibes, cool decor, highly recommend.

Shhhhhhh… Garden City’s best kept secret. Hidden in the GCH somewhere…. Amazing staff and drinks. Cool setting. Hard to find. Go see the hotel front desk and tell them you want to have a new experience and tell the Barsnobs sent ya! A very cool speakeasy bar. You will have a fun time. Great music, it gets packed out after 10pm so get there early.

My girlfriends and I had the most amazing night at the Rose Room! We danced the whole time to DJXel who played exactly the music we needed. We couldn’t sit it was so good! How have I not gone before? Ashley was the Best server!!! Dressed chic like the space itself and so fun to be around. She made the night. German and John were also great and had fun personalities. Can’t wait to go back this month.

Went to the Rose Room at the Garden City Hotel with some friends on Friday and had a great time. They took us down in a golf cart to a secret entrance and we walked into a really cool speakeasy.
The place was very busy and the music was pumping. We tried the specialty cocktails our server Ashley recommended and they were great. We also had some cheese and charcuterie plate that was delicious and they even had a popcorn machine in the back.
Very cool place. I will definitely be returning soon

I visited the Rose room with some girlfriends last weekend and I would go back in a heartbeat. The bar was so edgy and the drinks were amazing! The bartenders Ashley and Sam were extremely personable and made the experience so memorable. I plan on going back this weekend and bringing some more friends. excited to say we found our new favorite spot.

We had an awesome time after finding the entrance. Bea & Brian (our bartenders) make amazing cocktails. We even saw Stacey there (the manager @ the red salt room) had a great time. Met some wonderful people out celebrating their birthday. Will be back!

The perfect spot to either start your night, end your night, or just spend all night at. My husband and I checked this place out for our anniversary, and it was the absolute highlight of our night.
The staff was fun and bubbly, the music was perfect for us millennials, and it was the perfect volume to still be able to have a conversation.
The drinks were delicious, ESPECIALLY the zombie. I loved the psuedo-speak-easy vibes, and will definitely be returning the next time we’re in town.
