What a gem! We were leaving Nashville and wanted to get breakfast but every place we stopped at had an hour’s wait. We decided to keep going towards home and the I Exit app showed this restaurant. It had good reviews so we decided to give it a try.

They serve breakfast all day and even though it was 11:30 that’s what we wanted. We chose the Country Boy breakfast with tenderloin. I asked if we could get grits instead of hash browns and our server said sure. We split the breakfast and it was more than enough food for splitting. The coffee came right out, hot and fresh. The food came out shortly after.

I can’t say enough about how delicious it was. We will definitely stop here again because our son lives in Nashville so we will take this route often.

The restaurant was clean and the decor had a country vibe. The servers were very pleasant and

Horrible. Workers were awesome and welcoming. But the food was absolute dog water, the sweet tea tastes like cough syrup. The cheeseburger was absolutely horrible. The cheese wasn’t even melted and the bread was like they didn’t even try to make to good. The atmosphere was extremely loud and tense, babies were screaming. Overall horrible experience, I feel sorry for the workers. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Only thing making me not give it a one is that the workers were nice and don’t need a horrible review.

The couple in the both next to us sat down the same time our party sat down and they got their drinks and food and we still were waiting to to order our drinks and food. The waiters would never look at our table so we could get their attention. Everyone in the restaurant was white and we had a Hispanic person in our party. Made that person and the people in our party feel like they have issues serving people of a different race. After 15 minutes waiting we walked out. We will never recommend this restaurant to anyone, this kind of service is ridiculous!!!!

I was on the road and craving breakfast at 1:30 pm. I didn’t want to go to the usual offerings off the highway. Googled restaurants on Maps and this place came up. Right off the highway, attentive service and food was ready quickly. Servers were young women and very sweet. Best veggie and cheese omelette I have had in a long time. Reasonable prices. Typical mom and pop meat and three, diner type seating, clean and functional. Highly recommend this place!!

Go for the pie not the food.
The service was great the people were super nice. The pie lived up to my expectations (i got the chocolate meringue). The food was okay, very much a homestyle meal and great if thats what youre looking for. Personally I don’t like going to a restaurant that makes food I could make at home. My main qualm was that I had heard good things about the hush puppies but when we got them they were doughy/underdone, thank fully they didnt make us pay for them but it was still disappointing.

Hidden gem for breakfast, family owned restaurant. Great prices for the portions, The breakfast was delicious. The food came out promptly, and the people there were very friendly. Worth stopping by as it is located by a gas station and right off the highway as well.

After visiting this quaint little home town restaurant, it’s easy to understand why there are so many 5 star reviews. Very delicious food that was served hot and timely. It was obvious this place is a favorite with the locals as many people came and went stopping by other tables chatting with fellow diners. Although this is right off the highway it is ready to handle the many travelers as well as the loyal locals with a very friendly staff. It was a pleasure to find here and we have added this spot to our favorites so that we will stop in each time we travel this way.

We loved the Rose Garden Restaurant! We found it quite by accident from the sign advertising “food” on I-40. Take exit 273 and enjoy some of the best restaurant food you have ever eaten. NOT a fast food place. We will be scheduling trips along I-40 to be there at either lunch or dinner time.
We enjoyed the food here so must, we stopped for a late breakfast on the way back through. They did NOT disappoint!
