Sooooo we thought because of the location the food was going to be mehhh..To our surprise it was delicious. I got the chicken taco, enchilada and tamale plate because I love to taste every thing. The taco was great the masa for the tamale was good and the sauce for the enchilada was delicious. Overall the food was good and authentic. They had a lunch special for $9.99 that looked good and I want to go back try a dish or two. Totally work the stop. He had the chilie verde and thought it was GOOD. I forgot to mention if you like spicy ask for their spicy salsa outside of their regular chips and salsa ️ ️ ️

A great place to have authentic mexican food, I mean real food, rice, beans.

Fast and friendly service by rolando, prices are not high and serve a good portion.

Absolutely loved this place. Rosa’s Mexican Restaurant in Hermosa Beach is the kind of hidden gem that delivers big on flavor and service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, fast, and super attentive. I swear my Coke was refilled five times without even asking old school service done right.

I ordered the steak burrito, and it was packed with flavor. Tender meat, perfectly seasoned, and portioned like they actually want you to leave full. My kids had cheese quesadillas and devoured them, which is saying something. Even the basics were done at a high level.

The salsa was fresh and delicious, but the homemade tortilla chips were next level. Crispy, warm, and clearly made in house, not the bagged stuff you get at most places. And when I asked for a hot sauce, they brought out something that was straight fire in the best way possible. It was blazing hot, but full of flavor, not just heat for the sake of heat.

Everything from the vibe to the food to the service felt like a family run place that actually cares about the customer experience. Can’t recommend it enough. Five stars without hesitation. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Hermosa.

A very cute, low key, authentic Mexican spot. Cute decor, great service, and delicious food. Fresh, hot tortilla chips and homemade salsa to start— so good. I had a machaca burrito with tomatillo salsa and guacamole- chef’s kiss

Been coming here for as long as I can remember and I hope they stay around for generations to come. Everyone loves Rosa’s! The fresh made tortillas is perfect thin crispy texture and always warm. The salsa is not too spicy and again the perfect blend and so good on everything. It’s never crowded and we hope they have enough business to stay open forever and ever, it’s one of those neighborhood little places with a warm fuzzy feeling. There’s always parking right in front too. I like the carne asada and shredded beef dishes here. If I’m not starving I can get the 3 taquitos and much on the tortilla chips and be full. Or get their huge burrito and eat half and take half home for dinner.

This is one of the best burritos I have ever had. Low key establishment but everything you could ever want. Staff was so nice and checked on us throughout. Free chips and salsa right when we sat down. Beer was ice cold. refilled fountain drinks easily. I ordered the super deluxe asada burrito and it did not disappoint. Everything was so fresh. Took credit card too. Go check this place out asap. Highly rate it.

Place is nice but the food is honestly bad my order was lukewarm and the tortillas were not even cooked just warm all the meat was warm and just not flavor full the rice and beans taste like canned rice and beans the salsa tastes like tomato water and rosemary no spice at all and honestly for the price it’s terrible but they are nice at least food is just really decent. food 3 out of 10 .service 10 out of 10 .all the food tastes really cheap and for the price it is not worth it. I got 10 tacos on taco Tuesday I guess chicken is the only one that’s on the taco Tuesday is what they said so it came out to 74 dollars including tip.
