Boy, I’ll tell you. In Baltimore, you can’t get chicken without drama. The woman at the register was Staycee. She’s a big girl, and very loud. I was having a peaceful day before I met her. She is extremely rude, disrespectful and doesn’t listen. I have dealt with her before. I came in and ordered a four piece chicken, spicy, combo. When I got my food, I didn’t feel heat coming from the bag. The chicken was lukewarm warm, despite me waiting ten minutes. I thought this was fast food. I approached the counter to tell her that my food was cold. She started raising her voice and asking other customers if their food was hot. I told her that I’m talking about my food. We went back and forth but I left because I had to get back to the office before lunch time was over. When I got back to the office to eat, I bite into bloody chicken. Hours later I am sick to my stomach. Apparently they cooked the chicken too fast. They had run out of chicken before lunchtime. What are they doing? They should never run out of chicken. All the employees had to do was take care of my order and they couldn’t do that. I’m just feeling well enough to write this review. SMH! I will never trust that location again.

This Popeyes on Reisterstown Rd (6590) is a good go-to when I’m craving that Louisiana chicken. No drive-thru, so you gotta go inside or order takeout, but the food usually comes out hot and fresh. The spicy chicken is crispy with that nice kick, and the classic sandwich is solid – good portion, tasty sauce, crunchy pickles. Sides are decent: red beans & rice have good flavor, biscuits are flaky (though sometimes a bit dry). Staff is friendly enough and gets orders right most times, place is clean. my absolute favorite location in the city, but it’s consistent and hits the spot when you need it. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

I hope the owner reads this because the workers here are incompetent. Look at how many one star reviews compared to five star reviews. That should tell you something about this location. This incident happened on October 2 between 12:30pm and 1pm. I had been coming to this location for a few months. I regularly had issues with this group but I came because it was convenient. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a four piece and every last piece was dried up shriveled and burnt. I was pissed. There was no reason for this. They had did this twice before but I let slide. But today I got angry because they messed up and I was in a rush. The lead woman behind the counter does not like me because I call her out for her mismanagement. She gave me bad pieces on purpose because she didn’t think I would check before leaving. She said that I talked to them harshly. It was warranted because they are not doing their jobs. She gave me a refund which has not received yet and told me I can not come back. This is how this woman is running your business. Read the other reviews. I want an apology from the owner. They also placed returned chicken handled by a customer back into the fresh chicken which is totally unacceptable. They picked items up from the floor and handle chicken without washing hands. If a health inspector sees this you guys are getting shutdown. These people get into conflicts with customers on the regular basis and are driving customers away.

Do not order DoorDash from Popeyes. They use this location and every time my chicken is overcooked and dry and I pay extra for white meat only to receive dark meat. Biscuits always hard. I pay for extra condiments that I never receive. The staff doesn’t care and Popeyes doesn’t care because this has been this way for months, Popeyes has gone down hill , we need to find somewhere else who will value our money.

Very poor marks for service. This location has been deemed a “no fly zone” meaning it consistently takes more than 10 minutes to wait and pick up an order. Front end staff doesn’t even recognize you as being there, unprofessional.

The service was pretty slow in this location. As a matter of fact, it was a line out the due to the slow service. Sometimes, the service is fine, but, there has been on occassion, the service was not good. Mainly due to the workers having slight attitudes about whatever. (Didn’t have anything to do with me)

These people are dangerously negligent. I asked for an unsweetened tea and it was sweetened. Had I had a diabetic spike and had a seizure I would’ve SUED and they do this on multiple occasions the only reason why I even get a drink is because it’s required. The fries are heated up. My chicken was drenched it grease and was freaking soggy like my whole order was just bad. NEVER do delivery from here, only go in person.
