Not sure what’s going on. We have eaten here for the past 20 years. The food has always been pretty good, but something this time was different. Picked up a large Grandma pizza to go. Got it home, opened the box and it looked different,a good different. Started eating it and it was way better that usual. Not sure what changes were made but keep it up. That pizza was fabulous !

Stopped by for a team and lunch and the service was good and prompt since they weren’t too busy. I ordered the Philly chicken and cheese (no mushroom) lunch special and it tasty. Kudos to the toasted bread w/o having to ask and it was definitely plentiful and seasoned well. Overall pleasant service, good food, and great value!

Good food and great service! The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. I will definitely be returning to try some of the many things on their menu. The pizza was amazing! The crab soup was delicious and it comes with grilled cheese. I also had a salad with shrimp that was very delicious as well. Ok… Friday Food Critic night at Rosa’s. Menu Item – Steak and Cheese, loaded down, Double meat, Double Cheese with Fries. Honestly, the sub was freaking awesome! Reeeaaalllly close to 5 stars. I will say… the double meat is not necessary. It was almost too much, but that’s what we ordered and it we desired a big Ole sloppy mess to clean up afterwards with a fork. The only thing that held back a 5 star is the lack of Hoagie Spread at the establishment (we used our own… it’s a must have with a proper steak and cheese), the crinkle cut fries (Honestly, who likes crinkle cut fries?), and the general quality of the meat. It was not bad meat. But is wasn’t GOOOOOOD flavorful steak either.
Would I get it again. Hell yeah, still the best on this side of Richmond. I’ve only ever had a true 5 star steak and cheese experience a handful of times in my life, so this I feel like is really good.

Ordered a Pizza and Cheese garlic bread, food was cold and flavorless and disgusting. The “cheesy garlic” bread is colorless, tasteless bread logs with slices of cheese thrown over them and a nasty spaghetti sauce for dipping. We ordered a thin crust creamy garlic pizza, it was under cooked, greasy and tasteless.

Rosa’s is a wonderful local Powhatan restaurant that we heard that so many people really like. If you’re looking for extensive menu selection in an Italian restaurant, this is the place to go! We were amazed at all the available choices. Wow!The service was very fast and efficient, and we took additional food with us for family members at home!

I placed an order for take out of 3 steak and cheese wraps tonight. After eating half of my wrap I found not 1 but 3 pieces of hair in the 2nd half of the wrap. This is beyond discussing. I am lost for words. What is going on in your kitchen to allow something like this to happen? Or maybe I should say what is not going on. I will never order from your restaurant again. I will also be sure to not recommend you.
