**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | An Explosion of Flavor at Rosa Cocina**
Just tried the **Pork Belly Elote Bowl** at Rosa Cocina and *wow* — absolutely incredible! Every bite was packed with bold, smoky, perfectly balanced flavors. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right crispy edges, and the roasted corn, creamy elote-style, brought everything together with a slightly sweet, tangy kick. Seriously, I could eat this every day.
And don’t even get me started on the **spicy margaritas** — the perfect combo of heat and citrusy zing. They’ve got just enough kick to keep things interesting without overpowering the flavor. Definitely one of the best spicy margs I’ve had in a long time.
If you haven’t been to Rosa’s Cocina yet, go hungry — and don’t skip the pork belly bowl!

Cozy,laid-back atmosphere. Sat in the bar, Haley was our server. Great job and hard working. We had 2 Steak Fajitas corn tortillas and one order of Shrimp Tacos. All order were big prepositions. You get your money’s worth. When visiting Sutters Creek it’s worth the visit.

I had the fish tacos, and my gf had 3 taco plate. My fish tacos were very good, and a nice portion size fish good amount of topings. Her tacos were avg. Beans and rice were ok. We liked the chips and salsa the best. A good house salsa. They also offer a spicy salsa that hits the spot. The service and atmosphere is off. It was slow and disorganized. Hopefully they can get things together.

The food was super good, full of flavor, huge proportions, and lots of combination choices. Being new, they could take a while to get it all together. Seating is pretty minimal, and cleanliness needs some work. Most of the servers seemed more into friends at the bar. They seemed to be having a great time, though. The food was the highlight and would bring us back in the future. 🙂

Just became my #1 favorite Cantina. To start, chips are seasoned (very good – I always salt them everywhere I go). Food and service are great! BBQ meats options are delicious and generously proportioned.

1) took over an hr. Until we could sit, plenty of tables and chairs. Sat us in the back of the restaurant in a room, forgot we were there.
2) 20 min. Wait till I found someone to take our order.
3) Food came fast but cold, my grandson child’s food was way to spicy, can cheese, horrible
4.) never checked on us, had to go get the waiter to bring my salsa because my fish tacos were too dry.
5.) two of us got tummy aches, continued until the next day
6) I finally complained gave us a sm. Discount on bill.
7.) food as a whole was terrible…
8.) said sorry so much, I lost count…

Margaritas and Tacos night out with friends who came up from the City. We chose this location from my previous visit to the Area. Every1 seemed to like the chips n salsa as well as their meal. I just wouldn’t seat People near a bathroom, not appealing IF eating. We chose the corner Pub table. Perfect! Their Mole was good!…

10/10 so underrated. We will be back. Quick service, amazing food, not crowded and great vibes.

We had the veggie burrito and the pork belly tacos. Both are excellent. There is inside and outside seating with heaters. Great atmosphere and definitely will return to try the margaritas!

Food was good. I had a taco salad and the shell was puffy and tasty, ground beef was good. The dressing was very spicy, I was glad I asked for it on the side and I ended up actually using the salsa mixed in my salad instead. That’s where the good part of the review ends. Service was horrible. We got there at 5:45 and didn’t leave until 7:30. It was so slow, and not many customers, so I’m not sure why. Our waitress was also bartending so that may have had something to do with it. My 6 year old wanted only beans and rice. Waitress said that was an option. It came with some kind of pico on top of the beans, which my six year old thought was disgusting. So he only ate the rice and then wanted more. $3 for more rice when it was obvious he didn’t touch the beans. Okay. I ordered a to go meal of only cheese enchiladas while we were still eating and it took about 40 minutes for them to have that ready. We had long before finished our meal and were just waiting on the to-go meal. Went to the bathroom, my son was bored so he enjoyed going out to the courtyard (which has a nice atmosphere — the inside, not so much). I was surprised our bill was about $100 for 3 of us (my child only getting a small plate of beans and rice), and one to-go enchilada meal. Drinks were $4 each and our waitress never refilled mine. So my generous mom let me share some of her soda. I also had asked if the to-go meal came with sour cream and guacamole, and was told only sour cream. So I asked for a small side of guacamole, holding out my thumb and forefinger in a circle indicating a small cup on the side for the enchiladas, and the bill had it listed as a 4 oz side for $7! I couldn’t believe it! I got home and told my spouse about the bad service and high prices despite pretty good food, thinking the experience was over. But then she disappointedly showed me her enchiladas were both chicken rather than cheese! The waitress had even clarified twice with me that I only wanted cheese enchiladas to go, and it said so on the receipt! Not going back here!!
