This is a great place for groups and families with kids and for Mexican fast food you cannot beat it. It’s reasonably affordable and it’s pretty darned good, too. When we had 4 grandchildren living with us, we loved Taco Tuesday $6.65 for 3 Taco Plate: choice of Beef or Chicken, and crispy or soft tortillas. Comes with Refried Beans, Mexican Rice and more of those wonderful soft flour tortillas. The real deal closer for me is the self-service Salsa Bar with 3 degrees of heat on the Red, Green Tomatillo and Arbol. Also, Onions, Cilantro, sliced pickled Jalapenos, fresh whole Jalapenos and Pico de Gallo. They have great Iced Tea, and numerous soft drink choices. Yes, it’s a chain. So what? It ROCKS!

I just moved here from Houston and am trying to find some good restaurants. Sadly this is not it. It’s a cool atmosphere like a hybrid taco cabana/rainforest cafe feel. The staff was polite and quick. I ordered 4 individual items – the bean and cheese tostada (pictured), the guacamole tostada, a cheese enchilada and a crispy beef taco. Everything lacked seasoning and flavor. The taco meat was bland, the cheese enchilada lacked cheese but the gravy was ok. The bean and cheese tostada was the best out of alll of them but I still wouldn’t get it again. I so badly wanted to like this place but it is not for me.

We came for a quick meal and realized it was Taco Tuesday! Ordering was super quick from helpful counter service. The low price was a big bonus! The restaurant was packed but the food came out quickly and the tacos were full of meat, lettuce and tomatoes. The sides of refried beans and Mexican rice were very good and we each received two freshly made flour tortillas with our meal. Rosa’s was obviously ready for the crowd, had plenty of food and helpful staff. They were cleaning off tables as they became empty so people could find a place to sit and eat. It was a very pleasant experience. We decided we need to show up for Taco Tuesday more often!

I just want to apologize to anyone that has followed my recommendations in the past. I haven’t posted in a while. On That Note…Thank you for you! OK, so I went to Rosa’s for the first time Sunday afternoon (2/15/2026) Ordered the ground beef nachos with everything. And my plus 1 ordered ground beef taco plate. Not only did I not finish my plate but wanted to make sure that I wouldn’t get sick. (That’s why I stopped eating) If Bland was not a word in the English Dictionary…This “Food”? Would have no meaning! Never Coming Back! Love ya Austin! We could do better than that!

Best way I can describe this is if Taco Cabana has a Aunt that can’t cook. No seasoning. Shells stale. Appearance wise it looks extremely tasty. But your taste buds will tell a different story…instantly. they had a salsa buffet that I hoped would come through because if you have a good salsa you can make dishes taste better. But nooooooo… tasted very much like commercialized salsa nothing authentic or homemade. The salsa actually lacked salt and pepper. They have a limited selection on beers. Tons of seating. 2/10

Rosas Café is an excellent place for breakfast! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The café is always clean and welcoming, and the staff are very kind, attentive, and helpful. It’s the perfect spot to start the day with a good meal. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone!
One suggestion: I’d love if you had a mexican spicy salsa!

I was happy that the pork tamales were not real spicy. My kids love tamales but over doing the spicy was too much 2 months ago. But fri. I had the tamales and the chickenn enchiladas and the were the right consistency. Not too spicy just perfect. The white sauce was the right amount on the chicken enchiladas . But SORRY,the beef fajitas were rubbery. But all in all I enjoyed my lunch. Oh, and the chicken was moist. and not dry. THANK YOU FOR FINALLY LETTINNG ME ENJOY A GREAT MEAL.

Stopped to see soon and bring gift, but decided to try this place for lunch. Staff friendly and professional. Food was great, hot, tasty, and plentiful. Atmosphere was g ood, not overly loud but echoed a bit. Condiments selection was great, Self- service drink was a very nice addition. Will visit again as pricing was affordable.

Great atmosphere but so disappointed in the food.
I work in the area and pass this place all the time. Contrary to what I’ve been told about this place, I dropped in to have a bite!
I had the beef enchilada plate with double beans, no rice and a Fanta to help wash it all down.
Needless to say, I consumed more Fanta than usual as the enchilada sauce was foul. The flour tortillas were pleasant but the corn tortillas the enchiladas were rolled in had a horrible aftertaste! Or maybe that was the sauce?!
Regardless, this is not Mexican food and I wouldn’t even go as far as to call this Tex-Mex. For those of you saying THIS particular Rosas is good, you really gotta raise your standard.
The beans were aight but don’t take my word for it as I was already fighting the nausea when I got to them.

Employee did not wash her hands after coming out of the stall. I told the Mgr. what I saw while washing my hands. She said she has “told them plenty of times before to wash before going back to the kitchen, and apologized because there had been “other customer complaints.” THAT IS A PROBLEM. Was a regular patron, but haven’t been back since. Turned my stomach. Can’t wipe your butt (if she even did that) and then go make food for people with nasty hands. And the tables and drink station were sickening, too.
