Bistrot with a lovely terrace specialised in fish and sea food. I ordered the menu du jour, which is definitely value for money. The terrace is a great place to sit enjoying the view on the towers and the harbour of La Rochelle.
The food was good. I especially loved the oysters and the filet de bar was nice also. The tarte tatin was the perfect dessert. The service was friendly, but a bit distracted. It took some time before they noticed we were ready to order and my boyfriend got the wrong vegetables with his tuna. No big deal, but there is room for improvement.

We were affraid to eat in a tourist trap but honestly the restaurant gave a delicious menu at a good price. The location was very nice and the service almost perfect. The can sell more drinks if waiters focus on empthy glasses.

Seafood restaurant with a good view as it is right in front of the marina. The seafood seems fresh and tasted decent and service was fine. I understand that they can get busy. We were lucky to have gotten a table right before the onslaught of lunch time.

The seafood tower was delicious, very fresh and stacked. The oysters and langoustine were particularly amazing. We also had ´moules marinières’ – best we ever had. Beautiful view on the port and friendly staff that sang happy birthday for my husband.

I visited here recently for lunch and I absolutely loved it. It was so busy when I arrived but I was seated with my dog immediately and they brought out water for him. The menu was really great and it was difficult to decide what to order as it all seemed so delicious. For starters I took, raw espadon, tomato seche and avocat – super delicious and light. Mains, I ordered Bar with mashed potatoes with buerre crustace – also delicious. For desserts i was clever and went for a café gourmand as they give you a small taster of all the desserts which I adored – mousse au chocolat, Panna cotta, pistache cake, and chocolate pudding and caramel sauce – DELICIOUS The staff here are so nice, they were super efficient and everything was fluid. Service was quick. Strongly recommend here

We weren’t in a particular hurry, but we felt that our waiter had too many tables to service, so we waited a long time to get our aperitifs and to get our food.
When it arrived, we thought it was good value for money, especially given the location on the harbour front.

We ate there two nights running. Moules the first night and seafood platter and sea bass the second. The food was excellent and the servers charming and attentive without being overly fussy. Very reasonably priced, as well!
I am sorry that we were only in La Rochelle for the two nights as I certainly would have returned for another meal. We will just have to re-visit La Rochelle.

Beautiful spot to enjoy the sun and view of vielle ville. Mussels and fish were great, though out order seemed to have been misplaced, but they sent out a free rillette of fish to enjoy until like order came. 2 glasses of bubbly finished off a great time.

A nice seafood restaurant on the pier with friendly staff. The moules marinière was just ok, the seabass tartare was fresh and tasty but the oysters were the star of the show, some of the best I’ve ever had. Wish I had ordered a few more! All washed down with a very refreshing glass(or two) of muscadet. bon appétit!

Ate on our first evening in La Rochelle. Walked up around 7 pm, didn’t make reservation and seated right away. The place started filling up around 7:30-8 pm. Had the Mussels and fries menu, dessert (brioche perdue +caramel beurre salé+ glace vanille) was out of this world. Service warm and inviting, never felt rushed especially when we made friends with the table next to us. Highly recommend.
