My first time trying Rosario’s and it was very good. Ordered a simple cheese pizza for a pick up and it was ready on time. It was a big hit at home. Best pizza I’ve found in the Capital District. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the fresh off the boat pie is my personal favorite. I routinely crave their steak sandwich loaded with provolone, which is especially remarkable for me because it’s not a sandwich I am typically inclined to seek out.
It’s more of a takeout place than dine, although pleasant to eat in. I recommend ordering in advance especially for the evening rush.

First time there yesterday. Have family an hour away in Schenectady and we were headed there for a pre-Christmas Pizza get-together. Called in an order before leaving our place in Columbia County. Told them we would be there in the 2:30 range. Arrived around that time to be greeted by 4 hot fresh out of the oven pizzas as promised. Nice pies with generous toppings. Would certainly stop back when in the area. Friendly and accomodating staff. Only one issue…………pizza chef is a Jets fan ! Signed , frustrated Giants fan !

Rosario is the best! He went above and beyond to create a delicious dairy-free pizza for us. From the crust to the sauce to the fresh veggie toppings, everything was absolutely amazing. I’ve never seen my niece enjoy pizza so much—she ate four whole slices! We’ll definitely be coming back.-shortypeppers

Tonight was my second experience with Rosario’s. I was pleased with the first pizza, so I decided to get a large Capo pizza for myself and my kid. We were thoroughly impressed with the friendly staff and service that we received, above and beyond our expectations. We were extremely impressed as soon as we saw the pizza, absolutely covered in toppings, the smell was unbelievable. Once home we quickly agreed that this was one of the best pizzas either if us has ever had (my kid is 20yrs old and I’m 51) in our lives. I will be returning for more food from Rosario’s in the near future, I highly recommend giving them a try. The lasagna looks delicious, but haven’t tried it yet…

I have already become a regular customer in the short time that Rosario’s has graced our neighborhood with its presence. Everything I’ve had has been absolutely delicious, but today I tried the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. For me, this is the way eggplant. Parm is supposed to taste, And it is the first time I have tasted one that Is on par with the way my father cooked it! I look forward to trying more of their delicious food!

I moved up here from the city over one year ago. I was told that this other place over on a union was the best pizza around. Im sorry, but there is no pizza in Schenectady worth bragging about, until now. We loved the Quattro Formaggi. It was creamy and delicious. The Stromboli was huge and tasty. The garlic knots were just a little bit oily for my taste, delicious nonetheless. Now the steak sandwich. OMG. The caramelized onions were so sweet and delicious. We got it with mushrooms also. Wow. We haven’t had a steak sandwich that good since Cazolas in south Florida. We highly recommend it. Food here is definitely cooked with some of the best ingredients and care. We are so happy to be eating Italian again, because it was not looking good.

– Slice of Sausage Sicilian pizza- 5/5 (best I’ve had in the last 20 years.)
– Loaf of Semolina Italian bread- 5/5 (great fresh, crusty, with amazing flavor)
-Fresh Panzerotti- 5/5 (first time ever having it, now a new favorite, doughie, crisp on the outside, filled with ricotta, prosciutto, and deliciousness)
-Chicken Parmigiana- 5/5- (would’ve been better if I could have eaten it fresh, still excellent)
-Garlic knots X2- 5/5- THEY COME WITH EVERY DINNER!! Best I’ve had in a long time!)
-Cheese Danish 5/5 ( a danish the size of a salad plate? Yes please!)
There is heavy construction on the road in front of the building. Between rush hour and construction, parking is a nightmare right now. I parked 3 blocks away and walked to the shop. That said, I would walk from MILES AWAY to go there again.
My eyes were bigger than my stomach. My wife and I have enough leftovers for 2-3 meals EACH!

Second time here in a week, the first we got the first cousin sub which was phenomenal I couldn’t stop thinking about it since. Tonight we had the white Nono pizza and the beautiful mozzarella salad, absolutely delicious!
