First time coming here and I absolutely love the decor personally. I’m big into fish and I was blown away by the interior decoration here. Everyone was super friendly from start to finish! Our server was very attentive and very helpful when it came to making menu suggestions and just overall had a bubbly personality. We sat on the top patio which was spacious and inviting and also clean and you can still see the beach from here! The cocktails were delicious, I highly recommend the spicy margarita ️ The food was also delicious, we got a crab cake sandwich, short ribs, and catfish and everything was so good! Portions were perfect too, we left full and content You know we went to another restaurant close by and we had to leave because no one ever came to our table, and we ended up here at Ropewalk and you really turned the mood and day around for us! Great service, great view and atmosphere, and great food and drinks! I hope we see you all whenever we come back to Bethany Beach

My family visited Bethany Beach for the first time this Memorial Weekend and found Ropewalk. We were lured in by the balcony which has the best view of the charming shopping square. It did get a little windy but the vibes were just what we were looking for.

My family & I just ate here for the first time for lunch & will definitely be back! Everything was fresh & shareable! We shared the jerk chicken wings(which were rubbed & airfield which was really good!) We also shared the scallops & orzo which was good.. wish there were more scallops on the dish though! And the salad (House) was fresh & good for 2 people to share 🙂

The food was overall good. We felt alright about our waitress, however she was only attending the area partly inside and outside by the entrance, and she checked in on us one singular time. We had a party of 10 when we went in to see what the wait time would be and when we waited 35 minutes, there were only 8 seats. She did not allow us to move a table over, which is fine, but she was rude about it. The wait for food once we sat down was not long and that was nice. There were a LOT of flies. Also, not everyone was able to get a pitcher at our table. I will say, the prices for the food was not worth it. It wasn’t bad by any means, but I wouldn’t pay $27 for it (including tip). Overall enjoyable experience but I wouldn’t need to come back.

Good food and environment. This restaurant is right in the heart of Bethany. The food is decently priced and family-friendly. I could also be a good spot to start a friends night out.
We went there at 5 pm and were sitted pretty quickly. The staff were pretty busy but it didn’t take long to get our food for a party of 14.

Food was great. Tuna appetizer was delicious as was the salmon. My only issue was with the espresso martini. It wasn’t cold as you’d expect from being mixed in an ice shaker. Instead of espresso, it seemed more like watered-down coffee was used. It was very watery and did not have a very strong coffee/espresso taste. Reminded me of an iced coffee that sat out too long. Won’t order that again. Also, there were NO prices on the drink menu so we either had to ask about each one or just take a chance it wouldn’t cost too much.

We decided to give this place a try as we were walking along the boardwalk. The food looked appetizing based on the menus they have outside. The service was great at the bar. There were no seats available when we got there but the bar was completely empty. The crushes were really good and me and my friend enjoyed them. The food was just okay. And they were not really open to subbing items. I think it is a good alternative to some of the takeout food that you would normally get on the boardwalk.

We were looking for a place with crab chowder (not soup) and a kids menu and this place was the winner! The crab chowder was slightly spicy but yummy. Kids menu was large and came on a frisbee for kids to take with them. Veggie tacos were descent and the waffle fries were amazing. The biggest hit was the pitchers that the fountain drinks came in.
