Had wanted to try Roots because I wanted a healthier fast casual lunch option. I was excited when they opened. It didn’t disappoint.
When I first came in, the girl who greeted me was very welcoming and kind. She could see I hadn’t been there before and explained how it all worked. I was happy when she said I could make my own.
She was patient as I walked through the options and chose what I wanted. Made my own bowl with steak, rice and veggies with lemon tahini dressing. Soooo good!
It was $16 for the bowl but I ate half today and will eat half tomorrow. I think k it’s a big portion and a good deal. I’d like to come back and try another option. Check them out.

First tome trying this place, it is a cross between Chipotle and Hello Bistro. We built our own, the glass separating the staff from the Customers id too high, they cannot hear you. So you end up shouting and pointing at things.
It also confusing for first time folks. The dood is decent, most of the thongs are gluten and dairy free.
Worth a try, but due to stress of ordering and aslo the cold when the door opens, not too comfortable.

Food was exceptional. Got the el jefe and it blew my mind. Everything was perfect. The chicken, rice, kale, pita chips, avocado, corn, and dressing just blended together perfectly. I would eat here every single day.

This place is great! Food tastes amazing and was more filling than I expected (I had the Balboa bowl). It’s also healthier and cheaper than most other places. Younger kids evidently eat free which is awesome, and was quick to get in and out with our order. Definitely planning on frequenting this place.

This place is soo soo good! Pesto Cesar salad I love all their sauces! Great customer service which is really rare in this area. They are very attentive and help you figure out what to order. I have to give a huge shoutout to the employees who helped me clean up a bowl my son spilled! They cleaned up before I could even say anything and remade a bowl for us, love this place will be back again and again

Food taste great! People are awesome BUT they call themselves a healthy option when they using canola oil to cook all their meat. Should be using avocado or olive oil.

The food all looks fresh and tastes delicious. Very quick service and a wide variety of options makes this a new go to choice. Dining in this time was a pleasant experience. The overall space doesn’tale you feel rushed and you can sit and talk as you enjoy your food. There are a limited number of tables, so if very busy, getting food to go might be the only option.
