Mile High Kava is dedicated to providing a unique 18+ bar atmosphere for those who enjoy socializing without alcohol. We serve kava, a traditional drink from Polynesia that has been enjoyed for millennia and produces a mild relaxed state. A diverse selection of traditional and ethno-botanical teas from different parts of the world are also offered. Our welcoming environment promotes relaxation, social interaction, community bonding, and endless opportunity for entertainment. Instead of a bar serving alcohol, we cater to individuals who seek a sober lifestyle, are interested in the benefit of herbs, and are keen on fostering a sense of community. All locations are open 7 days a week (12pm-2:00am) including all holidays.

Stopped by with me and my girlfriend. Was around noonish. Somewhat newish to kava and kratom. The staff was welcoming and immediatley set us up with a bartender who was lovely. She explained to us the specifics of each drink before breaking down the menu. We ended uo getting some kava and chilling. The other patrons were super friendly as well. That being said a large tattooed gentleman started making remarks about one of the girl customers chest. He made multiple jokes to the point where thay girl looked uncomfortable. Another male jumped in and diffused the situation and switched convos. That being said it was very loud, his remarks. None of the staff said anything or even addressed it which I thought bizzare. The tattooed gentleman seemed to be well known by them as one of them said his name, Tanner I think. Not sure if hes just a local customer or works there but my girlfriend became very uncomfortable with the fact there was repeated jokes and none of the staff said a thing. Definitley would come back to pick up drinks as the staff was knowledgeable and the drinks really were great. Would not bring friends or girlfriend back do to that interaction. Seems like it has happened before and as a sober space that felt weird.

First time here was an amazing experience for me and my friend. We tried some samples, got muddy, enjoyed our time. We loved the atmosphere and the people who took care of us, as well as the drinks! Definitely try this place out if you’re looking for a laid back, comfortable time. Will be back again soon:)

The BEST kava bar!! The drinks here are absolutely delicious! I love the smoothies, Kavachata, the slap shots and specialty teas! They also have hookah and a lot of amazing space to enjoy yourself! We received excellent service from Greg who makes everyone feel like old friends! I highly recommend this Kava bar, you will walk away a lifetime customer!

First time experience was FLAWLESS! The vibes were super chill, the staff was super nice and very informative. Got a couple cherry limeades and a blue lotus that were just devine. Absolutely recommend this place with zer0 hesitation!

Loved the welcoming atmosphere and delicious drinks! The kavatenders and staff were incredibly kind and attentive and made great conversation with us. They offer a large variety of teas and kava with lots of options for syrups and sweeteners. Cannot wait to come back!

I loved this place. The customer service was excellent. Free samples and educational information about their drinks. Had a kava smoothie. Delicious! Casual, laid back, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Great kava spot! Only place I’ve been to that genuinely looks like a “bar”. Great tasting kava and kratom and lots to do – pool tables, games and a good crowd! Will definitely be back again.

First time Kava user here. Here’s the answers to the most important questions (can’t believe no one has done this before)
1) yes you do get some physical effects and yes they are good.
2) Physical effects are not like being wasted from alcohol but definitely noticable. I probably wouldn’t drive under the influence of kava.
3) yes the flavor of kava is nasty reminds me of Kratom.
4) definitely get the all you can drink kava promotion for $30. You get like 4 hours to drink as much of this stuff as possible. Kava’s reverse tolerance makes it difficult to feel the effects your first time but, I definitely felt the effects. I got the the extract. The extract is strong but probably not the most cost effective way to consume this your first time.
5) the vibes of this place are super chill and there are plenty of stuff to do. You can come alone and sit and no one will bother you (I did) or bring some friends. Plenty of stuff to do (games and stuff).
6) I loved the staff here. They are friendly and kind and knowledgeable.
