I’ve been hitting up Rooted Kava regularly, and hands down, Tyler stands out as an awesome kava tender. He’s super knowledgeable about the different strains and strengths, always nails my usual order perfectly, and makes killer recommendations when I’m feeling adventurous.
What really makes him great is his vibe—he’s genuinely friendly, welcoming, and has this chill energy that instantly puts you at ease the second you walk in. Whether it’s a busy night or a quiet afternoon, he keeps the bar running smoothly, chats with everyone like old friends, and just makes the whole experience feel special. Rooted Kava already has a great atmosphere, but Tyler takes it to the next level.
If you’re in the area, ask for Tyler—he’s the best! Highly recommend this spot and especially him. Bula!

Rooted Kava in Lantana is wildly inconvenient if you have plans later. You come in for a quick drink and suddenly it’s been two hours and you know everyone’s life story. Josh somehow runs a place that feels less like a business and more like a really well-organized hangout. Phoenix, Lana, and Kayla are equal parts welcoming, hilarious, and suspiciously good at keeping you there longer than intended. The drinks are solid, the vibe is effortless, and if you don’t have a good time, you may want to check your pulse. Would absolutely get stuck here again.

Love this place! If you’re looking for a kava bar that’s small, tucked away from the crowds and intimate then you found it! Always feel MORE THAN WELCOME HERE! Great location right off of Federal and very close to I-95. Servers are awesome and prices are DEFINITELY on the lower end of the spectrum.

Lani makes some of the best teas I’ve ever had! She’s incredibly attentive, easy to talk to, and brings such a relaxed, positive vibe to the space. Every visit feels welcoming because of her energy and great service. Highly recommend stopping by!

Rooted may be small, but it has a very friendly environment with a surprisingly consistent product day after day. The prices are fair and the happy hours are generous. The bartenders are all great , especially Phoenix and Josh.

I absolutely love going to Rooted!! Phoenix always has a happy and welcoming smile after a long day which definitely never fails to brighten my experience everytime. He could not be nicer and more respectful in ways which makes all the difference for me to when staying for a while. As well as being an excellent kava-tender who is quick, efficient, thorough in knowledge of products and always has good suggestions, I appreciate the time he takes to make a quality drink just the way I order or better. Kayla is another amazing kava- tender who never disappponts with what I order who I love spending time to come to see. Kayla is very respectful and always has a positive vibe. She is also very informative on different products I may try that I have never had. Atmosphere is always amazing with the different venues/ activites that are going on for each day/night which makes it a fun place to hang out.
