We were extremely happy with our decision to check out Rootbound before catching a movie in Sisters. The special (quinoa curry bowl) was delicious! The chili and nachos were just as tasty. Very happy to have discovered this vegan spot in Sisters! Loved the food cart atmosphere and surrounding options as well. We’ll be back!

I was magically surprised when I went to this food truck at the beautiful Barn. Food court. The farmers salad was literally the best salad I’ve had in years. Get the citrus dressing. I cannot say enough about the salad, how fresh it is and it’s the best food in Sisters or Bend. You will get a better salad here than you will get at any of the expensive restaurants in the whole area.
The people running the truck really care about the food that they create.
I got fish tacos next-door, and bought a salad from the food truck. The combination was absolute heaven. We are so lucky to have such high-quality food in this beautiful small town.
I highly recommend that you get the farmers salad. The dressing is also homemade.

Delicious, nutritious, and cruelty-free! My husband (an omnivore) and I tried the Rootbound burger and the Autumn chili and both were hearty and amazing. This food is pricey because it is very high quality. We also loved the vibe of this food cart lot. Beer and cocktails available in the barn.

I ordered the Technicolor Nachos – they were very flavorful and I enjoyed them. My grandsons tried them and couldn’t tell that the cheese wasn’t authentic cheese.

This vegan food truck has delicious food. We tried the Technicolor nachos and two of the sandwiches. All were tasty but the favorite was the Rootbound Burger. Highly recommend.

A delicious plant-based food truck at the Barn! I had a hard time deciding what to order because it all sounded so good. The bowls are a sweet/savory mix and a pretty large portion of food. I’m grateful to have this option and always happy to support a fully woman-owned business.

I had the Savory Bowl. It was interesting. The presentation was beautiful, I loved the pineapple, tofu and pickled radishes. The rice was a little over cooked, almost pudding-like, for my taste. I also thought the teriyaki sauce was odd. I didn’t realize it was teriyaki. I thought it was some kind of gravy and I didn’t love that it tasted cornstarch-y. Next time I’ll try the nachos. I’m just stoked there are more vegan options popping up in our area.

This place is beyond Wow! I live in the Portland area & have yet to find a place that is remotely close to this plant based food cart. This is a rare gem of a find! If you live by a Whole Foods Plant Based lifestyle and or if you are Vegan this is the place for you my friend. I had the Vagabond Bowl with an added side of grilled tofu & also the Ultralife Blend. It has a coconut based curry sauce. If you like curry this bowl is Amazing & you will surely not be disappointed. My sweetie had the Hearts Align salad with an addon of tofu & Ultralife Blend as well. Needless to say it was very delicious as well. So if you’re passing through Sisters or you live here, be nice to yourself & stop by for a great meal. Will definitely not be disappointed. All thumbs up.
