If you are looking for a quaint bougie place to eat right here in Clermont this is the place. Yes it might be $$$$ with this economy but honestly it was worth every penny. Best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. Meatloaf should be just meatloaf right? Not here, the flavor was on point it was very tender and delicious. The Braised short rib custini is incredible. French onion soup delicious.
The cod was light and flaky and the chicken piccata very light and flavorful. We will be back soon to try the Pork Wellington, please ask for Amber she goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is a special one at root and branch.

Appetizer was the fried green tomatoes, fried with cheese and a hot pepper with a base honey drizzle. A must order.
Entrees, meatloaf wrapped in prosciutto with mash and gravy and some type of broccoli and shivered onions. Was excellent. Suggest.
Salmon was pretty good with some type of Korean BBQ with a slaw, mash with same type of broccolini.
Dessert was next level bread pudding which was fried. It was good but very average, if it has some sauce or powdered sugar, might be very good!
It was pricey but worth it, would absolutely return when in the area.

The food was truly a highlight, tasting both yummy and delicious thanks to their high-quality ingredients. We were delighted by the great service provided by our server, his friendly attention made the meal even more enjoyable. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious, especially the chilis that made the whole dish pop. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My husband got the short rib ravioli. Great ambiance, wonderful service, and truly tasty food all around!

We have dined here a few times and we find that the dishes we have had were fresh, full of flavor, presentation was simple and unpretentious which we prefer. The dishes we have had are too numerous to mention. Some of the appetizers are shareable, fried green tomatoes are outstanding. A couple of the handhelds have wagyu beef not expensive yet delicious. Overall the food is excellent. One disappointment recently was the bread pudding.They could do better with that. It looked more like French toast and that is not the traditional method. However having said that a delightful place to dine and enjoy good food. We need many more bistro places like this in Clermont instead of all these fast food places which I don’t go to as they have never seen food.

We should have come sooner! Ambiance, food, service and cocktails were excellent . We showed up around 6pm and were seated right away, within an hour it started filling up. We tried the pork belly, amazing, crispy outside and super tender inside. Old fashioned and margaritas were on point! For dinner, burgers were very tasty, pork wellington and salmon were delicious, everything was tasted around the table and everything was given nods and mmmmmmm’s. Cream brule was served cold, little dense which was different, but still tasty. Overall, great place to celebrate or take guests! We will be back!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday; they put us in a special room with a round table and it was perfect! Such a great location, and the food was sensational. Everyone had empty plates – the table ordered the smash burger, whiskey burger, salad with grilled chicken, kids burger, Korean bbq salmon, tenders and macaroni and cheese, and the lemon chicken with the veggies and masked potatoes. The food was accommodated for the dietary needs at the table without any issues. Daniel did an amazing job! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Unfortunately our experience was not quite what we expected from reviews we read from past and following YouTube recommendations (from 6-12 months ago) we don’t like to complain but we didn’t finish any of the items ordered. We were asked if everything was ok and we politely smiled and nodded.
Our server was on top of everything and attentive and nothing reflects on him.
The restaurant was virtually empty on a Saturday night at 730 pm which was the first red flag but we proceeded to stay and order. The menu online is VERY different to the menu we received in hand so that was frustrating.
We tried the pork belly lollipops and fried green tomatoes app. They both came out way too quick to be freshly prepared unfortunately. The pork belly has ok flavor but masked by the chutney smothered on top and somehow it was both over and under cooked in the same piece. The tomatoes were decent but not much flavor and a little greasy. My husband tried the country lasagna against his better judgment and it was not appealing and VERY small for $27 and the flavors did not work , we again didn’t want to complain but it was not good. The flavors are very odd and he had a very upset stomach all night.
I ordered a “pistachio crusted pan fried” chicken breast with lemon and capers and pasta.
I got a bone in roasted breast smothered in capers and lemon but no pistachio and no sauce or salt on pasta and then veggies which weren’t mentioned. I only ate about a 1/3 and boxed it up to go. We came to town for our anniversary and unfortunately this was a bit underwhelming. Again the server was awesome and we tipped well despite the over priced underwhelming food experience. There was also paint all over the place in spots and missing in other areas. It is a shame because it definitely seems like the potential is there.
The raspberry margarita the server made was very good. He was both tending bar and serving the only 2-3 tables in house
