We didnt feel rushed. The waitress, Amber was super attentive and almost didn’t notice her filling our water or removing soiled plates.
The extra crispy fried chicken was amazing. Almost too pretty to eat but we dug in! The lemon and dill.was a great touch. Not overcooked either. The pickled watermelon was different and simply amazing! A must try for sure. The Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, perfectly salted amd served in the cutest cast iron- nice touch.
The meatloaf.is very different with pulled beef, smoked and pressed. Totally a new way to eat meatloaf. Thought it could have used a little more seasoning but thats being super picky. Mashed potatoes perfect we ctly creamy and broccoli not overcooked at all. The trout amd risotto was perfect also beautiful. We will definitely be back, for brunch and the trail hike. Go!! Its beautiful and amazing.
We had the fried green tomatoes and they were delightful. I had the fried chicken and it was extremely tasty. I also tried some of my dad’s ribs and they were amazing too. My wife had the burger, which was also excellent. The kids mac & cheese was a huge portion. Literally everything was good. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but not unreasonable for what it is. Parking was easy. They had a great outdoor space and patio. And they had decent drink selection.
We will definitely be back
We came back again. Everything is good. The salad was my favorite part of the meal. And the tiny portion of overpriced yet delicious carrots. Nothing really exceptional that makes you think, “Dang, I want that every day.” But it’s better than most restaurants around here. Overpriced for what you’re getting but an elevated dining experience in a lot of ways. More unique than say a 131 Main, but less delicious. More delicious than Horse Shoe Farm. Locally sourced ingredients or just priced as if it is? Questionable. Still think it’s worth a visit. Wonderful staff.
The eclectic choices of toppings for the burger was crazy good. The incredible take on Fried Green Tomatoes was superior and a joy to eat. Would have given it a 5+++ but the atmosphere…meh. So 4+++++ it is.
