Absolutely fantastic experience! The ambiance is a mixture of rustic and contemporary. We had the fortune of sitting in the to area with a view of the open kitchen! My son enjoyed seeing his food being made. The wait staff were incredibly helpful and nice. They were able to answer all questions, kept our drinks full and for came out fast. The food was amazing. All of it was fresh, very favorful and a unique combination of flavors. If recommend getting a reservation to ensure you have a table at the time you want. We’ll be back and recommend anyone to give them a try!

Walked the Ecusta Trail and this is at the end (for now) so we couldn’t wait to try it. The little extra garnishes on each drink and the effort to make each drink special was the perfect beginning for the meal. Every single item we ordered had an extra special touch. It was very refreshing and we couldn’t wait to see what was next. The biscuits were served warm and not too dense with a side of chicken juice, flaky salt and sesame seeds. Hot sauce and syrup on the table. The deviled eggs were pickled and devine! Wish there was more on the plate , we gobbled them up in no time.
We didnt feel rushed. The waitress, Amber was super attentive and almost didn’t notice her filling our water or removing soiled plates.
The extra crispy fried chicken was amazing. Almost too pretty to eat but we dug in! The lemon and dill.was a great touch. Not overcooked either. The pickled watermelon was different and simply amazing! A must try for sure. The Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, perfectly salted amd served in the cutest cast iron- nice touch.
The meatloaf.is very different with pulled beef, smoked and pressed. Totally a new way to eat meatloaf. Thought it could have used a little more seasoning but thats being super picky. Mashed potatoes perfect we ctly creamy and broccoli not overcooked at all. The trout amd risotto was perfect also beautiful. We will definitely be back, for brunch and the trail hike. Go!! Its beautiful and amazing.

We stopped in for an early dinner with the kids and I’m a sucker for a restaurant who can accommodate when we have our littles. They had coloring mats and crayons which always helps keep everything running smooth. Service was fantastic. They managed to squeeze us in even though it was almost 6 PM on a Saturday. And thank goodness because it was delicious.

We had the fried green tomatoes and they were delightful. I had the fried chicken and it was extremely tasty. I also tried some of my dad’s ribs and they were amazing too. My wife had the burger, which was also excellent. The kids mac & cheese was a huge portion. Literally everything was good. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but not unreasonable for what it is. Parking was easy. They had a great outdoor space and patio. And they had decent drink selection.

We will definitely be back

Driven past this place so many times and finally decided it was time to try it. SO GOOD! Had the corn souflee, Brussels sprouts, and R&B chicken biscuits (starter). The Brussels sprouts were my favorite! It was around 3pm on Sunday, so was not busy at all. Definitely going to go back!

Thursday 4:30pm early dinner with the family. Perfect timing for our family with a baby. The food was delicious. Wonderful welcoming staff. Definitely worth a visit.

We came back again. Everything is good. The salad was my favorite part of the meal. And the tiny portion of overpriced yet delicious carrots. Nothing really exceptional that makes you think, “Dang, I want that every day.” But it’s better than most restaurants around here. Overpriced for what you’re getting but an elevated dining experience in a lot of ways. More unique than say a 131 Main, but less delicious. More delicious than Horse Shoe Farm. Locally sourced ingredients or just priced as if it is? Questionable. Still think it’s worth a visit. Wonderful staff.

Super cute, unique little restaurant! Bartender was great, homemade iced peach tea was extraordinary. My friend loved the egg appetizer and my husband and I split the chicken and waffle sandwich which was divine!

A real foodie’s experience! The Sweet Tea brined Fried Chicken Biscuits were scrumptious! The chicken was very moist and full of flavor. The Shrimp and Grits were the best I’ve ever had! I lived in New Orleans for over 10 years and nothing matches the Shrimp and Grits at Root and Bone!

The service was fantastic. The food was even better. Not a fan of the distressed farm chic but that is simply a personal choice, the food and service more than makes up to me.
The eclectic choices of toppings for the burger was crazy good. The incredible take on Fried Green Tomatoes was superior and a joy to eat. Would have given it a 5+++ but the atmosphere…meh. So 4+++++ it is.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and decorations. My pot pie was good but not quite done in the center. The fried chicken was delicious. Our waiter did not offer to refill our water glasses. I would try it again.

Delicious!! Highly suggest making a reservation, as it can get busy. I loved all the food, but the deviled eggs were incredible. The corn soufflé is made to order, but worth the wait! The strawberry goat cheese salad was amazing as well, and the falafel burger was perfect. No notes.
