Leaving my review AGAIN as it was deleted for whatever reason. Went there Friday night we ordered but the live music was so loud we couldn’t even hear the waitress. Waited over 20 minutes for a different girl to let us know the cook was “busy playing darts” and hadn’t started out food yet. While he also had an alcoholic beverage on the table with his phone and things.

The 1st time we went was good .. tonight we waited almost 2 hours for over cooked steak and 1/2 the food .. we wanted this to be our new spot since moving here but we will NEVER be back … all that wasted food and didn’t even get 1/2 of it and they only gave me a $25 gift card a lot of good that is since we won’t be going back

For my birthday today we went to Rooster’s Tavern for the first time. It was wonderful. Ms. Karen was simply a delight! Amazing service, very personable, and the customers were equally welcoming. No, I do not drink anymore, but she offered me a shot and I accepted- Vegas bomb- been a long time since I had one of those, so long in fact, that I felt it before my food arrived! The crab claws are awesome, actually meaty! I can’t complain about anything! They even have homemade pork skins and if you’ve never had ’em fresh, you don’t know what you’re missing! Our table had mostly fried, but grilled options are offered as you can see with my basket- grilled shrimp, grilled Gator, and fried crab claws with grilled brussel sprouts!

I’ve been going to Roosters since my husband had a stroke in February. It’s on the way home from hospital & rehabilitation, very convenient for my son an I to get a good dinner. Everything I’ve ordered has been good (especially the Thursday fried pork chops ) I hope they add a few more items! Chicken & broccoli Alfredo would be outstanding! Love their food & attitude.

Oh, and don’t leave a negative review on Facebook because their “management” will comment nicely for others to see and then send rude messages to your inbox. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the server was doing her best to make sure we were taken care of.

The food was pretty good. I love thier fried crab claws. My friend at my table never did get the lettuce for her shrimp salad but she didn’t mind. There was only one waitress on staff so we did not get the greatest service but it really wasn’t her fault.

Staff was very friendly. New owners and our side seating was not ready but they let us sit out there with our dog. Food was on spot and fresh. Husband had the philly cheese and okra and I had wings and fries.
