This is a bar bar. We went for an early after work beer and the place was packed. Service at the bar was great. Our bartender said they were short on chilled glasses so she chilled our pint glasses before she poured ours. LOTS of regulars here. We were only going to stay for one drink but ended up ordering some chips and salsa and queso. Salsa was great. Queso was better than average. I would return to try some of their other food and hang on the patio when it’s warmer.
Note: This is probably not a kid friendly option. Just sayin’.

Drink orders were taken right away. Server didn’t come back to take our order for 10 minutes. Other people arrived after us and had their orders taken. Finished eating and waited another 10 minutes for the check. Fish was good, but burger was undercooked.

I hate to be the first four star review, but I have to be honest.
So, for starters, the food is fantastic. I absolutely love their buffalo wings, which have thick meat, a nice crunchy texture, and perfect flavor for buffalo sauce. My mom got their catfish, which she said was fairly good, and my wife enjoyed her burger and loved her fries!
The atmosphere is lively and modern, with several TVs, two pool tables, and a pretty sweet modern jukebox.
So, why the lack of a star? The service was very, very–slow. It took us around 10 minutes to get greeted at all, and another ten to even get drink orders in. The kitchen took an exceedingly long time to bring out our food–roughly 30 to 40 minutes. I noticed most of the dining room was waiting as we were. I noted a few customers came in, weren’t greeted, and after around 5-10 minutes left the restaurant, which is unfortunate.
Now, I know the place is new and trying to find its groove, and get the hang of things, but there is slow, and then there is incredibly slow. From seat to finish, it took us around an hour and forty five minutes. This wasn’t us loafing around, it was getting things as quickly as we could.
Our drinks never got refilled until we had finished eating. We had to call out to the already overworking bartender to get our to go boxes and pay out. It was one of the longest experiences we’ve had dining out, and that includes more fine dining situations.
I would love to come back at a later time and update this review if the service gets into the better swing of things or they hire more staff. Normally I would be more forgiving with this sort of thing, but it was just so difficult to get service I can’t merit giving it 5 stars yet. I want to note the staff looked like they were working very, very hard. This review is not a take away at all from their efforts, it just seems like they need more help or a more efficient set up for them and the establishment to truly excel. I genuinely believe if they can hammer out these kinks, they would be one of the best places to eat around the metro.
—- Overall, if you want great food and don’t mind a very long wait, or you want to just hang out for two or three hours, I believe this would be a good spot for it! However, don’t come hungry, and be prepared to wait a very long time and enjoy the cool atmosphere.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been to this restaurant and not been served. It has self seating but no one will greet you or bring drinks or check on you. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

TACC & MOPAR came in after our Country side Mini-Cruise to eat. This place is amazing, took awhile on orders, food & drinks plus refills. But the food was really good too. It was late 2 Mopars left 5minutes

While we have enjoyed this bar several times, the last two times have been slow to almost non existent service and this last time was the worst.
When we got to Roosters, there were a total of maybe 10 people and 4 service people. We went to the pool tables and started playing and assumed someone would eventually come help us. That was unfortunately not the case. We eventually had to go to the bar to get service after being there about 10 minutes.
We ordered food and it came out relatively fast. It was good (not quite as good as normal – fried pickles were all clumped together, but were still okay).
Unfortunately after that we only saw a server twice over about an hour period. We managed to get one beer and my husband never got a water refill, despite trying to get their attention several times.
We love Roosters but the last few times have not made us want to come back anytime soon. Sad for such a new and nice establishment.
