A beautiful bar room with rich history. Our mixologist, Gail, was a delight. She works hard to accommodate all of her guests and checked in with us to make sure we enjoyed our drink. The room is lovely, with guests from the Historic Beaumont and locals alike dropping in for a friendly visit and sip. We had the “The Last Word” cocktail and it was superb.

We passed through Ouray this summer and enjoyed a fabulous afternoon on the patio at the Roosevelt Tavern! Amazing views, great history and super friendly staff! The old fashioned was outstanding and my wife enjoyed her run and Cole. We loved that the patio was pet friendly too!This will be a regular stop when passing through!

We stayed at the Beaumont Hotel and had a great experience. The Roosevelt Bar was a highlight, Gail, our bartender, was fantastic! Down-to-earth, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. We came back just 10 minutes before closing, and she treated us with the same great service as earlier in the evening. The front desk staff and the patio service team were equally warm and helpful. The hotel itself is beautifully upgraded while keeping its historic charm. The only minor issue was that the A/C could be a bit cooler, but that’s understandable in a refurbished historic building. Overall, great drinks, excellent service, and a truly enjoyable stay. We did not have any food so cannot speak to that.

We actually went to the 1886 coffee in the morning, which is in front of the tavern was closed. The tavern looked spectacular. The 1886 coffee offers a clean, historic, and pleasant environment, great coffee, and to die for Quiche! We went back every morning during our stay in Ouray.

Don’t sleep on this spot. Best dinner in Ouray!! The food is not as highly priced as some of the fancier spots in town houses and everything is so well cooked and the staff is so nice. We had the fried chicken with some of the sides and everything was well cooked and seasoned with interesting and delicious flavors. Drinks were great too! Wish we had come here both nights of our stay!
