We don’t make it to Lexington very often. We’re in town for a graduation. Asked around and heard that Roos Taquerua was the place to go. Was clean enough. Not the biggest place, but were able to get seated easily. Food was awesome!! Cost was reasonable. Wish this place was closer so we could eat here more frequently.

We had the chicken and beef asada tacos and they live up to their ranking! The red hot sauce for the tacos was tasty, but VERY hot. The green tomatillo sauce was not got at all and had good flavor. The restaurant was busy and the service was excellent.

The food here is amazing and extremely underpriced. She handmakes the tortillas to order. I ordered the carne asada burrito with white queso inside. Every bite was like jumping into a endless sky full of pillows. A very comforting burrito. The portion was right on point I couldn’t finish all of it and saved about 2 to 3 bites for later. We’ll definitely be back next time I pass through. I would like to see a dessert on the menu. Perhaps she could fry or grill those homemade tortillas and add honey and cinnamon.
