It’s my fault that I didn’t read up more on the business, but this isn’t a coffeehouse. They serve coffee, but no Espresso. No seating for customers. Not from the area so wasn’t prepared for that. Small prepacked snacks but no food.

i placed an order on the app for FREEHOLD. and the app adjusted it to Manalapan. When I went to freehold, they said I can call the manalapan store to get a refund. I called the store and they said once the coffee was made, they can’t give me a refund even though it was the app’s fault. i explained my case & still no refund. I used to work at rook for two years and never heard of that. Now I’m out of money for no reason. i will not be coming here anymore. i’m disgusted with the rude behavior of the baristas & the way they speak to the customers as well as this “new policy.” i will be going to my bank to file a claim against you if you won’t make it right. thanks. also the person I spoke to wasn’t very nice and told me to “speak to brandon” and her name was Mariele.

LOVE Rook. If you love coffee and supporting small businesses, this is the place for you. Mobile ordering available. Tons of cool merch available (can also mobile order) and a small selection of pastries, besides all the excellent coffee drinks. All time favorites/recommendations: s’mores, mocha mint, and gingerbread. The flavored iced teas in the summer are also amazing. This location is always clean, speedy with service and fairly friendly! (Bathroom for customers also available.)

Long time Rook enjoyer, very disappointed in this location. They charge you for 16oz in a 24oz cup and give you ~12oz of actual coffee, with ice.
Pictured is my “16oz” Bigger coffee with ice as well as 16oz of only water. You can see they are identical.
This is the 2nd time I’ve received a comically lesser amount of coffee in my “bigger” order at this specific location. I understand they do not fill to to the top, but this is unacceptable. Especially when the explanation given is “it’s a pre-measured amount”.

Another great Room coffee. I usually go in for the cold brew Louisiana style but I started to move to the hot coffee since it’s winter. I’ve been doing my own tour of the coffee world and it’s nice to try something new every day. So far my favorite is the Guatamala blend. Clean store, friendly staff and best of all text ordering.

They’re ok. I had a regular size latte and had them make it Cinnamon Vanilla. I really liked the notes, and loved that you can really taste the bean. They are just a cold brew business, no variety of styles just iced, hot, or latte. I did see around 8 different coffee choices. If I want to be on the healthier side I’d choose Rook and if I want my coffee to taste like dessert I’d go to Starbucks. Not bad. The only issue, I went online to look for nutritional facts for my calorie intake and they didn’t have much. Just pictures of the bottles they use. You dont see any info about the added ingredients.

Love their cold brew!! Always buying a new roast to brew at home and they’re cold brew concentrate is really good. Only downside is this is NOT a sit down place. I wish it was since I’m always looking for new places to sit and work from.
