Ron Gleason has been working in the Woodlands hospitality industry for over 25 years. He decided to put his money where his mouth is, and open Ronny G’s . His new bar restaurant/lounge caters to all. Menu is simple & delicious and most items under $10. Come have a scotch or beer with your friends at the new Ronny G’s! This is a great sports bar with great food. I’ve tried the burgers the wings; they have schnitzel. I’ve tried the steak fingers, chicken fried steak, nachos.

Great food and service. The staff is super friendly and personable. Ordered the Hot Club Sandwich to go and the Mac and cheese. The sandwich was fresh and used great quality ingredients and they don’t skimp out on the meat. The Mac and cheese was super creamy and had great flavor. Would 10/10 recommend! Will be back

Wife and I stopped in Roni G’s on our visit from Cincinnati in February 2026. Nice place with all sorts of games and activities (pool tables, darts, tv’s for sports, video games). The night we went (Monday) was red beans & rice night and before you say “at a bar”… let me tell you, it is hands down the best red beans and rice we have EVER had… and it ain’t even close. The food was really good which shocked us. The place wasn’t crowded so service was very quick and good. Drinks were strong and flavorful. The place isn’t expensive but we spent $108 that night for the 2 of us. Don’t get me wrong, we each had a few cocktails, dinner with dessert.

This was a cool place! Their menu has a wide variety and they have things you don’t usually see on a bar and grill menu. The food was really good! The service was amazing! Our server was the only server and she never once missed a step. It seemed like he, the bartender, and the cold were the only ones working and it was still great. The atmosphere is nice and cool and fun if you have kiddos to keep them busy. Overall great experience!

Super Bowl Sunday. $75 per person in cash only for finger foods. The moment my husband and I walked in we were eye balled. Our waitress didn’t want to serve us. Kept walking past us. My husband had to get up and order from the bar. This is how our veterans are treated. The waitresses and bartender should be ashamed of themselves letting all those old drunk men grope and grab on them. We had a few drinks and left. Went to Buffalo Run down the road and had a great time there. First and last time going to Ronny G.

Another good day at Ronnie G’s where the beer is cold and the food tastes great. I had my usual Chicago Dog and it was as excellent as always. I then had the Beer Brat, which was also excellent. And of course the fried mushrooms were fabulous as well.
As far as the service is concerned, it was spot on perfect. Our beers continued to arrive cold and promptly.
Although it’s been awhile since I’ve visited Ronnie G’s, it still felt like home.

Decent food and would recommend the Italian beef. The service wasn’t great as drinks ran empty and they weren’t that busy. Shouldn’t have to go to the bar to get a refill for the prices. Friendly staff though.

Today we tried Ronny G’s Bar and Grill. Located in the Woodlands Texas. This is a non-smoking, no vaping sports bar. It serves absolutely fantastic food. This is no ordinary bar food. They have a vast menu, great food, affordable prices, and superior service. Today Claudette was our server she had personality plus and checked on us frequently. The manager came by to make sure we were happy with our food. We dined in about 2:30 PM in the afternoon. I had the chicken fried steak with onion rings. Their portions are large and there was enough for us to take home for dinner. They have a variety of beers and cocktails. We will be going back next Thursday for steak night with the choice of ribeye or T-bone for $16.95. This is a casual dining atmosphere.

First time, went with a friend who is a regular. Excellent food, met the chef, very nice guy, owner was present and very personable. Fun atmosphere, games to play and comfy booths plus a bar area!
