Went for lunch and service was good. However, thoroughly disappointed in the Michigan sauce. Sauce was basically a tomato sauce and it was served cold. The cheese was shredded mozzarella instead of cheese curds. Even the plain hot dog looked and tasted weird to my 9 yr old who isn’t picky. Chicken tenders was the best tasting item we got.

I just love this place. It not only has the best Michigans around but it has kept its cozy old-time feel. Every time I go, the ladies serving are always so kind. On a whim I went today and ate in my car while it drizzled rain outside – literally that perfect fall day feeling. I mentioned I’d be quick because I had to get to work and the woman serving me managed to get my food to me in what felt like less than a minute. She heard my comment and did something about it when she really didn’t need to. I hope Ronnie’s lives on forever as I’ve been coming here for the last 30 years. It holds a dear place in my heart. ❤️

I was told this was the Plattsburgh experience… the traditional Michigan hot dog and chili. An out of towner here so I really appreciate a good ole drive in and get served at your car. The food is simple but good. You can’t beat the prices and the comfort of a long standing family owned establishment that’s become a staple in the community. A quick burger, fries and hot dog joint that hits the spot.

Stopped in to grab a Michigan for the town of Plattsburgh “Michigan Passport” promotion recognizing 4 legendary Michigan stands around the city. Ronnie’s is great because you can pull off and they do carside service and will serve you right to your car window the way it wasn’t long even though it was lunch time the waitress was very nice they do only accept cash they do not take card they also accept local check.

Fast and delicious! Stopped in for lunch quick while between jobs (landscaper, so always on the go) and they were very prompt and pleasant. Food was very yummy and inexpensive.

We were going to hand this person a tip when they brought our food out but she stormed off before we could! But as she walked away we received multiple dirty looks and head shakes. Like, lady…. If only you waited just two seconds ♂️ . As far as the food…. wayyyy overpriced.

Went for lunch and waited 15 minutes and ignored multiple times. I waited and watched the woman go to other vehicles after I had been there for some time. The lady saw us waving and the vehicle was running. She looked multiple times and rolled her eyes. Was with someone who had a friend that worked there. There was discrimination in this matter and it’s not fair. Will not be giving them my business anymore and suggest other people do the same.

Simply put, the best michigans in the North Country! I have many great memories of visiting Ronnie’s with my grandmother, it was always our favorite. My standard order seems to be 2 michigans with (onion) buried and onion rings (they’re awesone), but the cheese burgers, while perhaps overlooked, are great, too. A stop at Harrigans next door for an ice cream cone is a must, so remember to save room!
