The service is super friendly and welcoming. It can be a bit slow during busy times, but it’s worth the wait.
The food is really good, made with fresh, quality ingredients, and the prices are very reasonable. It definitely has that mom-and-pop feel, which adds to its charm.
A great spot for a casual, comforting meal where you’re treated like a regular, even on your first visit.
My only complaint was that the tv they have inside is so small it was hard to watch the soccer game on. But the food and service make up for it!
From the beginning to the end, very bad experience.
We sat, and got served coffee and an orange juice for the kid, amazing.
There were a cup of forks and knives, I took a fork.
The fork was SO dirty, there was some build up in between, and behind the fork.
So I asked politely for plastics.
And of course I got the hippest one.
The one that the knives can’t cut anything.
And then I got my eggs with potatoes.
The darkest potatoes that I ever got.
Seems like the pre heat it a few times, or some leftovers from somebody else.
They were dark / black.
I asked for a new one, she asked if should she switch.
Im starving at this point and im telling here please just get me a new one, I won’t eat it.
She said she need to take the plate, I asked if she can leave the omlette.
No she can’t.
Evretrhing with attitude like I didnt something wrong.
I decided to take my money back and yo pay for the drinks.
I left the drinks there, almost full.
Regretting paying for the drinks.
Going to pay only for the drinks and she giving me a hard time and blaming me.
Im explaining here about the forks and the service, she’s arguing.
Ok
Love the pricing too. My plate would have been $20 at Blu Jam, but I only paid $15.50 for my eggs Benedict. Heck yes.
Also want to add that despite the longevity of this diner, facilities and tables/seats are all well-kept and clean.
The service gets a 3 because the waitress wasn’t very polite, and when the bill was brought, she couldn’t calculate everything correctly the first time. Then she left for a long time to recheck it.
In a city known for its fleeting trends and ephemeral hotspots, Ronnie’s Diner stands as a testament to the enduring power of classic American comfort food, executed to perfection. From the moment you step through the door, you’re enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels less like a restaurant and more like a cherished memory. The cozy booths, the gentle clatter of cutlery, and the friendly hum of conversation all combine to create a dining experience that is both timeless and utterly delightful.
The menu at Ronnie’s is a love letter to the American diner, featuring all the beloved classics you know and adore, but with an unwavering commitment to quality and freshness that sets it apart from the rest. The ingredients are so fresh you can taste the California sunshine in every bite. The burgers are a masterclass in simplicity and flavor, with juicy, perfectly cooked patties and the freshest of toppings. The sandwiches are piled high with premium meats and cheeses, and the breakfast, available all day, is nothing short of legendary. The pancakes are light and fluffy, the bacon is crisp and smoky, and the coffee is always hot and fresh.
But what truly elevates Ronnie’s from a great diner to an unforgettable one is the staff. The service is attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. You’re not just a customer at Ronnie’s; you’re family. The staff takes real pride in their work, and it shows in every interaction. They’re happy to offer recommendations, accommodate special requests, and ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of perfect.
In a city of stars, Ronnie’s Diner is a shining example of what a restaurant should be: a place where the food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the people are friendly. It’s a place where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy a taste of classic Americana. Whether you’re a lifelong Angeleno or a first-time visitor, a meal at Ronnie’s is an experience you won’t soon forget.
