Catfish and Daiquiris to go? You got my attention. The catfish was very good. It was very clean and the service great. It isn’t fancy, but it is worth a try.

My order was 4 pieces of boneless fillets and 6 bone in pieces of fish. You can tell by the picture I didn’t get any bone in fish. Normally get good food from here but today was a disappointment. I drove 30 mins for this food. It took almost 40 mins to get my food mind you I placed the order about 10 minutes out. Ok fine on the wait I want my food to be fresh. I ordered 2 combos and was given 1 basket of fries and only 2 pieces of bread and 2 containers of tartar sauce. Mind you this is a 10 piece order. The fries were not fresh even though we waited for the food. The peppers used to be whole and now they are thinly sliced. I was given about 10 pickles for 10 pieces of fish. This is very disappointing.

I was looking for a daiquiri spot in Plano close by instead of having to drive to Dallas and Ronnie’s came up. I love it!!!! Great menu options, food and daiquiri’s tasted delicious, and the service was top notch!!! I will be back and I’m telling all my friends about it!

I’m sorry but I work hard for my money. I purchased the whole catfish basket. So disappointing. At this point I don’t believe this is real catfish. The fish taste fishy and is mushy. The skin was falling off from the back side. This place is nothing like the Ronnie’s Catfish in Dallas. I will never eat here again.

Placed a telephone order at 3:31, arrived at the restaurant and was told it would be five more minutes…cool…got my food and was back in my car at 3:55. Arrived at my destination and this is what I got. Dry, dry, dry…nothing had been eaten out of the plate when the pictures were taken. I called and the lady on the phone was pleasant and apologetic and said she’d have the head cook call back. He called and wanted me to bring the plates back, when I told him they were in the trash he sounded surprised…I wasn’t keeping something I couldn’t eat. They added that salad to fill up the space of their portion sizes shrinking.

Ronnie’s Catfish and Daiquiri is truly a hidden gem in Plano! The atmosphere was spotless and inviting, and the woman who helped me was incredibly warm and welcoming. I ordered the 3 catfish filets with dirty rice—absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly crispy, and the rice was seasoned to perfection. She even let me sample the Bob Marley Daiquiri, which was just as amazing as everything else. I’ll definitely be back, and more people need to discover this spot!

I ordered the catfish 4 pc and it was amazing I love the WHOLE peppers that come with my fish the food was hot extra “crunch” on the catfish and seasoned to perfection. Overall amazing!!!! Make sure to ask for the homemade tartar sauce it compliments the fish!

I stopped in for a late lunch today 6/6/23. I was very pleased with the food and service.
It’s a small business with few, if not one employee. The food does not come out quickly because it’s made to order. Call in your order ahead of time if your in a hurry.
After ordering I waited about 15 minutes before my order came out “take out” style. I chose to eat there, and had to wait for the fish and shrimp to cool a bit before I could eat.
The food was prepared just right and tasted great! The crinkle cut fries are good and I munched on those while I waited for the fish to cool down some. The Catfish filets were thick and fresh, and tasted great. The shrimp salad also tasted very good and fresh with a spicy Cajun batter on it, along with a very tasty remoulade dipping sauce on the side.
I think I’ll try the “bone in” Catfish on my next visit.
