My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I visited Ronnie 2 for lunch on a Wednesday.. This is one the kids’ favorite spots in Anchorage and they wanted to share the experience with us..
Service was fast and friendly.. Their lunch menu is straight forward and offers a great variety..
Among us, we sampled the Hawaiian roll, teriyaki chicken, tempura shrimp, and Yakiniku beef..
Servings of miso soup, rice noodles, and a small salad were offered prior to our lunch dishes and each were quite tasty..
I enjoyed the Yakiniku beef with tempura shrimp and rice.. Each dish had lightly breaded and fried sliced vegetables (potato, sweet potato, and zucchini) with them and my wife’s teriyaki chicken also offered a pair of pork dumplings..
All of the food was delivered to the table hot, fresh, and flavorful!! The salads were cold and crisp.. Everyone enjoyed their selections..
Since the kids are “regulars” our server offered us a complimentary dessert offer lightly fried Oreos topped with light whipped topping and a light drizzle of chocolate sauce..
All in all, we had a great experience and would certainly consider revisiting Ronnie 2 on a future trip to the Anchorage area..

We were here for the first time and we will not go back. We were waiting for our order and during this time the waiter often came up and asked if we were ready to order and he did so 3 times in 5 minutes. In addition, we had a table in the corner and in the aisle at the same time. I was sitting in the aisle, taking up half of it, and the waiters, when they ran, caught on our chairs. The water they served initially smelled of chlorine. The wooden chopsticks they brought were not packaged, and they put them on the table (which was clearly not super clean). At the end, they brought the bill and automatically indicated a 15% tip. Are you serious? For what? For such service? Well, you did not understand this, so I am writing here for everyone. As for the food, in principle, it is not bad. But a salad for 6 dollars will look like 2 spoons of seaweed. This is sad.
I would like to say a special word about the elderly woman with makeup who was intrusive and rude.
The toilet is a separate horror. There are greasy stains everywhere, door handles, dust and pieces of food on the floor. There was also dust in the hall near the table.
And the most interesting thing is that some otherworldly owners do not give a discount to the military. If you are a military man, you will not get a discount here.

Ronnie 2 Sushi is amazing and I really enjoy going here! I highly recommend their warm/baked rolls and love that they include soup, salad, edamame, and a noodle dish before you get your sushi when you dine in!

A coworker of mine suggested this spot and This place reminds me of a NYC chinatown spot I used to frequent, as an east coaster who just moved to Girdwood, The food was so good! Flavorful and huge portions my roommate and I ordered so much no expecting the size, but left overs are always great in our house the service was amazing I didn’t get her name but she was lovely and we will be back, Things I suggest to try is the Udon, absolutely amazing! As well as the crunchy roll, the sauce was to die for!

Fantastic establishment. Hector the sushi chef is not just a sushi chef, he is an artist. He has also ruined my taste buds for any other sushi. I exclusively go to Ronnie’s 2 to sit at the bar and watch hector work his magic. The food is always amazing and the service is great!

What a fantastic experience! My sister and I sat at the sushi bar and were promptly greeted! Everything came out so fast, and so fresh! The portions are huge, the variety is incredible, and the service was absolutely phenomenal. From the hostess who greeted us, to our server, to the sushi chefs behind the counter, every single layer of service was fantastic! Thank you so much for the great time. We will absolutely be back!!
