You can tell when someone makes your food with love and they enjoy it vs when they’re heart is not there. the food was not made well. it was a very cheaply and poorly made. I didn’t even get any sides with my quesadilla it was just a dry quesadilla, no sauce with the mozzarella sticks and the fries didn’t have any salt. When you walk into a “bar” on a Sunday evening and it’s empty take it as a warning that it’s probably not the best. it’s better to go somewhere else you could get better food at chipotle and better customer service

The food is best suited for children. I don’t eat pork or beef so I wanted the onion rings which they did not have. I ordered the three combo with chicken quesadillas, fries and mozzarella sticks for 20 and one would think the quesadillas would come with some pico De ga and sour cream or something like the Mexicans do normally and the cheese sticks would come with a sauce all I got was ketchup for the fries and it’s the most dead fries and cheese sticks you could have. for the amount I spent I was expecting something a little different and when you walk in you have to look around for someone to help you def not worth it and the mozzarella sticks and fries were like the cheapest frozen food one could buy. I guess that why it was completely empty and no offense but the owner was sleeping on the table when I walked in I thought it was a homeless person. Definitely heck no next time. The price does not match the taste. Do better!

As someone born and raised in Mexico, I was excited to try this new Mexican restaurant near our home. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the place didn’t make a great first impression—it wasn’t particularly appealing, and we were the only ones dining there. That’s usually a red flag in my experience: either the food is overpriced, or it’s not good. Sadly, it turned out to be the latter.

This is not the place to come if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Mexican food. We ordered quesadillas and a birria torta, but neither dish stood out. The flavors were off-balance, with some items overly salty and others too sweet. Overall, the food was below average.

The vibe of the place felt more like a Mexican nightclub than a restaurant. If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a beer and listen to music on your own, this might work. However, it’s not the kind of atmosphere I’d recommend for families.

There are better options in Opelika where you can enjoy a more satisfying and authentic Mexican meal.

This place could be poppin if they stepped up the customer service and flavor of the food. The cook it fast and the portions are okay but the flavor is not it. For Mexican food it’s given it’s made by another culture. When someone walks into your establishment I shouldn’t be looking around for someone to help me. I should be greeted immediately especially if it’s empty. This is how to improve your flow. I was the only customer in the store a Hispanic woman was at a table with no food I’m not 100 percent sure she worked there and a man whom is believed to be the manager was sleeping right next to the cashier station and I get it you know we get tired but they failed to make it a better experience then some other Hispanic lady comes around to finally help me. I should have took it as a sign not to order when she tripped up on the floor board sticking up from the ground. I felt bad because it’s embarrassing but yeah no this place is not a good place to order food from – food and business critic

The place didn’t have the seafood and the woman made the experience uncomfortable especially she didn’t understand the items I asked for. She run up my ticket wrong but the wings was 10/10 .

Seems they are still working to get setup as they were unable to serve any alcohol. I seen seafood boil on the menu and was like “HELL YA”. ordered the seafood platter without crablegs (only 2 options for platters), and they sent out mine with crablegs. Had to send it back to take that off. If they offered king crab I would have ordered them. The shrimp was fully unpeeled. Definitely need to work on the sauce as they only had one sauce. It was okay but not the full seafood boil experience I was expecting from glancing at the menu. I believe most places main sauce has Cajun, Bay Seasoning, lemon pepper, and galic butter mixed. The mini lil half corn cobs were adorable. Idk if I come back by I would be likely to get a Mexican food entree instead. They need to seach a better seafood distributor and being fairly close to the gulf it shouldn’t be that hard to find and maybe get fresh corn cobs and potatoes. They can keep good for a long time. I bet they buy a big bag of frozen mini corn cobs. I guess with this I could have used a good stiff drink to wash this all down lol

I don’t think owners are Mexican because food was not very good. Went during lunch and 2 customers were in there. It took them a while to bring out my food too which was basically one meal.
