So, so yummy. Large portions, and very affordable, especially if you box up half for leftovers. Great ingredients, cute homey atmosphere. Beverage options fairly limited. Seems quite authentic, to me! And the flavors vary because the boss makes salsa and such by improvisation. The tortilla chips are real, too, not the store-bought crumbly type.

Happened upon this place close to our hotel… My husband is Mexican and picky about the authenticity of Mexican food- we all loved it! The lunch special ($7.99) came with two tacos (loaded), beans and rice and a drink (which could be a gigantic beer on tap!) if I lived here, I would come here all the time! Yum! Cute little place

Excellent flavors/options, and a large portion (there are three sizes, but the medium was pretty big). I just wish it was maybe a bit cheaper with a slightly smaller portion. It definitely competes flavor-wise with mission burritos from San Francisco, though. That says a LOT for North Dakota. Plus the guy working the register was cute. Ay papi!

Generous portions. Kind service. Similar to Chipotle and Subway in that you first order your food, pay for it, and then take it to a table. However, like some Mexican sit-down restaurants, their guacamole dip is made fresh when you order it. Delicious!

What do you order when you go into a place called Romo’s Tacos? Hopefully the tacos.
I stop here weekly for lunch. Easily the best tacos in town. I tend to order 1 spicy beef and 1 spicy pork taco with lettuce, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, and sour cream….I absolutely love them and I’m from southern California where good mexican food is like chain restaurants to Fargo.
So why 4 stars, and not 5? Not everything is that great – in my opinion. The burritos are very large, i’ll give them that, but I wasn’t very impressed overall. Good tortillas, good ingredients – just not sure where it goes wrong for me? Maybe too much meat. On top of that, when you’re ordering something, they don’t often let you know if its spicy or not. This isn’t a big deal to me, but my wife was very disappointed with her burrito due to the spiciness of a sauce she chose (green) – no one even mentioned it to her.
They do have good pozole soup 🙂

My favorite burrito in town. my only complaint is the amount of food you get. Even in a small I can seldom finish it.

Romos came recommended from some locals. I have to say we absolutely loved the food! Best authentic Mexican food my Finacee and I have ever had!!! We loved it so much we went there twice on our trip! The service was also excellent and very friendly!! Can’t wait to come back!

Not my first trip here…definitely not my last!!
I have had the beef burrito before…complete with all the extra goodies I could possibly want. YUMM!!
But, a couple days ago, I tried the spicy pork burrito. WOW! Sooooo good. Not overly spicy by itself, but between the add ins you puck & the sauces you choose from… It. Was. Perfect!!!
Try it smothered! They’re WAY to big to pick up & hold anyway! If you have any self dicipline at all… you WON’T finish the whole thing & you’ll have a great 2nd time around with your leftovers. Just as good the next day!
Always friendly people who treat you like they appreciate your business and the food… it is something I crave until I can get back into Fargo the next time.
Go BIG or go home they say… I’d say GO BIG – GO TO ROMO’S.
