It’s such odd experience. We’ve been here once for breakfast and quite pleased about it so we decided to comeback to try more bbq and smoked menu. First our sever was busy doing her side work on the counter didn’t pay any attention that we were all ready to order but finally we’ve got it we kind of rush ordering since all of us are starving in that point so when our food has been served we just realized she has never asked how would we like our steak cooked which so odd for the the restaurant that serves steaks. The ribs was so tender but blacken burnt on one side, our kid never gets his drink that come with his meal. Over all reasonable price food was ok the service is depend on who is your server.

I’ve had a few unpleasant dining experiences here. It’s one of those BBQ restaurants that you just wish was better. The meat tastes like it’s been sitting in the fridge for a few days. Pretty much the only redeemable thing about this place is the sandwiches and you can get a better sandwich at the bottleshop.

The service was good but the food left much to be desired. If I wasn’t so hungry I wouldn’t have eaten anything. I got the dinner plate and everything on it was bad. The fries were soggy and cold, the corn was tasteless even with butter and salt, the mac was watery and tasteless, the slaw was mesh and even the garlic bread was bad. The smoked brisket did not taste smoked and was dry as all hell. The ribs my fiance got actually tasted good but were dry. The only thing I gave it one star for was the service and the taste of the bbq sauce. Dissapointed :/

About 15 minutes after I ordered I was informed that they were out of one of the things I ordered. The rest of the food took 45 minutes. The bacon was overcooked to the point it turned to dust in my mouth, the brisket was like jerky, the bun on my hamburger was toasted so much that it was difficult to bite into. The fries were cold, limp, and dry. Awful experience.

I got the Romi burger and onion strings and overall it’s very basic. It felt very lackluster and slapped together quickly and for $21 I will definitely not be coming back. Prices are way too high it’s not approachable. I’m sure there is some charm in more particular items on their menu but To be honest I feel one could get a better burger and deal at Denny’s.

This is the best that Ukiah has to offer. Ordered the smoked wings, the chicken sandwich and the brisket.
All of the meat was tender and filled the mouth with smokey deliciousness. The brisket was juicy and awesome but the pulled chicken sandwich was the best. All the sides are great, with the tri tip chili being my favorite. The bread that the sandwich and garlic bread are on was fresh and soft.
Food came out quickly and the service was excellent.
The Covid setup was good. Tables were spaced very far apart but all under the roof and music from the jukebox plays outdoors as well.
Definitely looking forward to returning soon.

I thought I would give them another chance tonight the last time I went here (years ago) I ordered my son a tri-tip sandwich off the kids menu it was bigger than my adult ( more expensive) tri-tip sandwich I asked the waitress if next time I could order off the kids menu and she said I couldn’t. This evening was so disappointing as well My Caesar salad was wilted and warm and my brisket was cooler than the salad.

Not very clean , walked in and it smelled like a dirty floor. We were sat at a table that had not been wiped down. Waited for the waitress but it seemed like she didn’t notice us after she seated us. Proceeded to wipe down the table on my own with napkins i had in my sons diaper bag. Sat around another five minutes (still no waitress) and was fed up with the flies crawling all over us and our table , walked out as everyone around me contemplated doing the same as they stared with the look of desperation in their eyes.

Not great. Had brisket sandwich. For meat that had been smoked for 16 hours it tasted remarkably un smokey. Just bland uninteresting bleh on a soggy bun.
The fries tasted ok, but were not crisp at all.
I had the Emerald Triangle pale ale. It was ok, but nothing to write home about.
Wait staff was friendly, but the kitchen staff seemed awfully slow.
Will probably not visit again.
