Dive Bar Alert!
Probably THE most dive bar I’ve found in Denver in a while. The wings are GOOD! Lots of flavor variations. Fries were perfectly crispy! The onion rings were huge! We were a party of 15 and our server was awesome. Even for how busy the place was the food came out in acceptable amount of time. When we first arrived, there was no seating available but we were slowly able to take over 3 tall tables. All the other patrons were nice and talkative and let us know they were about to leave so we could take their table.
You want beer, wings, and foodball? This is your spot. We will go back!

The staff needs to do a better job of cleanliness within the bar so multiple fruit flies don’t end up in somebody else’s drink and experience swallowing fruit flies like I did tonight. Then eat your food and find dirty hairs wrapped around your French fry’s . Fast food doesn’t even mess up like this. I hope management and higher up pays attention to correct incidents like this.

P.S. I have recently returned to the bar Rome’s Saloon. Let me tell you – This place has stepped it up to an entirely new level. With Alexa and Lindsey behind the bar, I’d bet my life savings that there isn’t a better starting lineup. This is McGuire/Canseco levels of elite service. If you are reading this from any other establishment, walk out on your tab and get over here. Denver’s best.
P.P.S. Still here, major update. Learning a lot about the ins and out of this establishment. Morning crew, 1 star… potential for less. Night crew, give them an award for being the absolute greatest humans on earth. 17/5 stars.
P.P.P.S. I’m currently in Manhattan, Kansas. I find myself judging the security in every place I walk into. I don’t feel safe without Matt. Basically, if I’m not at Rome’s, I wish I was at Rome’s.
P.P.P.P.S I have spent time away from my family, traveling to far off places in the Midwest. Yet, as my plane landed back in Denver, my first choice wasn’t to go straight home… Actually, if “home” truly is where your heart is;, then I did, in fact, go home. I’m back at the locally owned and run business known as Rome’s Saloon. My plane landed and my plan of treating my hard working wife to world class wings to go couldn’t possibly be going better. Before I could even finish my standard 5lb beer and 1oz Irish whiskey, delivered by the most premium staff in America, my perfectly packed food was expertly prepared and ready for me to treat my family and myself to a night at home. The kitchen staff is the unsung hero of this place. What they are accomplishing here can’t be understated. Moving David to a role behind the scenes, although difficult for me to not see him regularly, was the correct move. Obviously – Mistakes don’t exist in the Romes universe. I will eventually stop being surprised when they go beyond what is expected. 18/10, zero notes. Google needs to add an option for more stars, if only for this particular location on earth.

So we went here for breakfast. This is definitely a bar, with a lot of character, and straightforward food and service. I read reviews that said the food was good and so decided to try it – and it was! The breakfast was delicious and surprisingly diverse, and the mimosas are awesome. Very impressed, it is super casual and relaxed and a dive, but the food gets an A. (I got the breakfast BLT; he got the breakfast burrito)

Come for the wings stay for the view. Rome’s has some of the best bar food you will ever find served by some of the prettiest staff on gods green earth. I had their delicious wings served by Nichole and never wanted to leave.
