This restaurant sits on the corner of the street in an older building that has large windows looking out into the street. Inside you’re greeted with a small dining area with smart seating. The high ceilings and low lighting creates a good ambience. The music playing is hits from an older time period and matches the vibe. The bar is the center piece and I’m curious to see how they decorate as they move on. If you are going during the cold season, avoid the large windows. Overall the food, people, and drinks were great. It’s the best Old Fashioned I’ve had since The Brown Hotel.

I’m here visiting from England with my other half and had the pleasure of dining out here with her. I am absolutely stunned at how beautiful this place is. A fantastic experience. First off we were made to feel very welcome and given a choice of a booth or table. Our waitress (Rachel) looked after us and explained various dishes. We went for the spicy pork skewers to start, and then the blackened chicken wrap and the meatball sub for mains.

Romero’s was fantastic. The staff was courteous, friendly, and fast with our food. The food was absolutely amazing. I very much enjoyed my burger, and the shrimp skewers were delicious. Over all I had a wonderful dining experience and would recommend anyone visiting the mount sterling area to eat here. The restaurant was peaceful which made for a pleasant dining experience ,and had a lot of nice memorabilia and art. Over all, I would definitely eat here again!

Love the quality of the food! Honestly the best pasta I’ve had in quite some time. Felt super welcome here and the drinks were great and original. Amazing place for date night but I’d bring my family on one of the nights they host events too. Definitely worth checking out!

My gosh, a true serendipitous experience. I was about to settle on a chain restaurant when I found this place on the internet. It’s a total experience here from the amazing collection of signed guitars in the lounge to one of the best meals I’ve had in sometime. The freshness of the ingredients combined with the attention to the simple details creating layers of flavors making each bite an incredible experience. The owners Rebecca and George made me feel like an old friend immediately. If you are in the Mount Sterling area and like Italian fusion this is a must place to visit many times.

My wife and I just happened to stop by. We’re so glad we did. I had the puttanesca which rivaled the best I’ve had in my hometown Chicago. My wife had sea bass which was off the menu, and cooked perfectly. Great bourbon selection served by a personable, professional mixologist. Great laid back vibe. Worth the trip if you are anywhere in the greater Lexington area.

Do not sleep on this place!! It is awesome! We had a party of 6 and everyone left full and happy. Very nice selection of cocktails, both that were tried were very good. All the food was exceptional. I had the Roman Puttanesca with shrimp and it was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back and get it again. A few other dishes that the table had was The Vodka, it was awesome, The bolognese, I didn’t taste but my friend said it was phenomenal. This place is a local treasure!

Awesome find!! My husband and I had dinner here a couple nights ago. Both had the shrimp scampi. Highly recommend! Portion sizes were just right. We had room to try a couple deserts and both were delicious!! Great service and atmosphere.

Dinner was spectacular. Wine selection was great and the caprese salad had a beautiful balsamic sauce on it. The salmon with lemon caper pasta was some of the best I’ve eaten. Beautiful.

We had dinner here tonight as we’ve driven by a dozen times and talked about stopping in. The atmosphere is great, wait staff was very friendly and food was very fresh. However i believe it lacked the flavor I was looking for. I’m no chef but would put my spaghetti up against theirs any day of the week. My wife’s chicken Alfredo also lacked flavor. Chicken by itself also was bland. Again, it’s a nice place but for the 23 dollar and up pasta dishes I’ve gotten more flavor from Johnny carinos and Olive Garden.
