Your neighborhood pizzeria has been reborn. Romeo‘s Pizza is now under new management and they are taking things up a notch from a regular pizzeria into an exciting local spot with delicious new favorites. Not to mention their staff is extra kind to boot!
Not many pizzerias can say they make their own homemade mozzarella, and theirs was so creamy and fresh!
When there’s rice balls on the menu, you know, I’m ordering it! Again, not something you typically see on standard pizzeria menus. I devoured theirs!
The buffalo calamari was perfectly crispy with a bold kick! I really enjoyed the twist on a classic appetizer. Served with ranch on the side, delicious!
The spicy piggy pizza had me sold with dollops of ricotta, fresh prosciutto and hot honey! Man oh man this was delicious, all the components of the pizza coming together so nicely.
The crème de la crème was Bobby’s triple threat pizza. A Sicilian pie with tomato, pesto and vodka sauce. Truly a masterpiece! The trio of sauces blend excellently in each bite.
And of course we had to test if their plain slice passed the test. Happy to report it was a solid 10 out of 10!
We ended our meal with some of their amazing zeppoles.

Found this little place in the corner of Cousins plaza as I was driving on 33! Under new ownership and the owner and his family were so welcoming. I had to try this new pie that he made – cheese on the bottom with a sauce swirl – DELICIOUS. And the crunch of the crust was unreal. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

My partner had been here before and always said how good it was, but this was my first time since I just moved to the area, so I was really excited to try it. The place is under new ownership, and the owner himself welcomed us and chatted with us like we’d known each other for years while he made our food, such a great vibe.
We started with a plain pie to test the waters and it was honestly amazing. I went back the next day to try more and got a buffalo chicken slice to eat there and a chicken caesar wrap to take to work later. Everything was so good. The wrap was light but very filling, and the buffalo chicken slice was so good I ordered a second one to go before I even left.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality pizza and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Far and away the best pizza I’ve ever had and am counting down the days until I get to go back and eat more. We tried a couple slices including vodka sauce pizza and a classic cheese, both were tremendous and delicious. I especially enjoyed the crust. The service and warm atmosphere at Romeo’s was the cherry on top to what was a very memorable dinner! I can’t recommend it enough, 10/10!

Ever since Bobby took over, he completely transformed the inside and the quality of food. The pizza is different, from the dough, cheese and sauce , as well as the wraps, wings, fries , and sandwiches. All of it changed for the better, Romeo’s of Freehold is great again.

One of kind pizza spot especially since new ownership, Bobby is a one of a kind person. The service is wonderful and the food is even better! As someone who is from Jersey and moved way back, Romeo’s takes me home every time unlike any of pizzeria! Will always recommend 10/10

This places defies pizza. I had one bite a tear went down my face. Coming from Texas, pizza isn’t our specialty- but when I had a slice of Grandmas pizza- my face- it’s as if I questioned my existence. I never thought I’d ever come across to the perfect pizza. It’s as if my life flashes before my eyes. High highly highly recommend.
