If you want an excellent mouthwatering meal at an affordable price this is you place. The quality of food is exceptional and the menu has something for everyone. I love there carbonara it is better than anything you would get in the North end and for 1/3 of the price my other half had the chicken fingers and let me tell you they are very picky about fingers and these were a hit. The chicken fingers are homemade and they fries were cooked perfectly. The waitress was very attentive and also the new hostess kept making her way around to help out with extra bread and keeping the table tidy. It is very refreshing to eat at an establishment where the staff care about your experience. If you are in the mood for a nice fresh antipastio this is your place and some excellent Italian food head over to The Rome

First of all I ordered take-out and I have to say the revised parking lot is absolutely AMAZING compared to what it was. Whoever they contracted did an awesome job! My husband needs a handicapped van ramp spot and they had a few of those, as well as the wheelchair ramp they already had.
So for my man we ordered the marinated sirloin tips with roasted potatoes and added mixed veggies. My husband loved it, especially the potatoes. He said the steak was juicy and tender, and he also killed the veggies.
I had the fettucini Alfredo with grilled chicken and added broccoli. I also ordered garlic bread with cheese. The grilled chicken and broccoli was great. The fettucini was good too. The Alfredo sauce was okay. For me it was slightly bland but definitely not bad. I just personally find the bertuccis Alfredo sauce at the store a little better tasting. Maybe it’s because I’m not Italian and don’t appreciate that authentic Italian like I should lol. Garlic cheese bread was good too.
The portion size is great with both of us having leftovers and my appetite is pretty decent. Picking up the takeout was quick and easy. The takeout person was super nice and sweet.

One of my favorite places. The food is fantastic and they have tripe, which is hard to find anywhere. We sit in the bar because we really like Karen. She is a wonderful person. No skimping on anything! They have a good size bar and 5 or 6 tables in there. It is always packed!

Relaxing & delicious dinner with my husband in the bar area. A little playoff football on the tv, chatting with the friendly couple next to us. My husband had the steak tip salad that was cooked to perfection over a fresh crisp salad. He loves this for dinner on a Friday night because he always has plenty of leftovers for lunch on Saturday! I was cold from being at the rink so the pasta fagioli soup was fantastic to warm me up!! Delicious, tender chicken Marsala with roasted potatoes was DELICIOUS!! The food was perfect! The service was the BEST! (Thank you, Karen!!) The Rome is always full of friendly employees and happy customers. Why go anywhere else! A+

This Italian spot is well-known and was delicious. The pasta was al-dente and fresh and good. The portions were huge which was good since we could have plenty of left-overs afterwards. I definitely would recommended this place to anyone who is looking for some good Italian food.

Very impressed! Tried meatballs & chicken tenders. Sauce tasted slightly peppery but had very soft bread to dip. Meatballs were soft. BBQ dipping sauce was very good as well. I’ll be back.

The Rome is our hands down favorite restaurant in Franklin! The food is authentic, delicious and reasonably priced! Karen, Nate and all the kitchen staff, wait staff and bar staff are beyond friendly and extremely accommodating and make you feel like you’re part of the Rome family! Whether you’re looking to try the soup of the day, a plentiful salad or the rich but delicious Chicken Romano, I highly recommend The Rome any day of the week!!

My wife and I hosted a party for 85 people and had The Rome cater our event. We had never hosted an event like this and Beth was especially helpful in selecting how much of each type of dish would be needed. The party went wonderfully, the food was delicious, everyone was fed, with enough for some leftovers. Beth took a lot of the stress out of the party

We tried The Rome tonight for takeout after hearing lots of praise on Facebook. It was outstanding!! We got chicken piccata, carbonara with homemade pasta, chicken cacciatore, homemade meatballs, and a pepperoni pizza. Each of us was thrilled with our choice and The Rome has made the takeout rotation! Delicious!!!
