This was our first time visited Reno and The Peppermill and also first time at Romanza and here is what I thought.
Food : Amazing! Everything was cook to perfection.Fresh and just taste great! By the way,The cheese board was bigger than I thought it was gonna be which was awesome! We loved everything we ordered.
Service : Excellent! I made a reservation about a month ahead because we came from LA and want to make sure we can have a nice dinner.The host was friendly.The server and his helper was very helpful and nice! No complaint about the service.
Vibe : it’s feel classic and to me it’s feel like you were in Caesar Palace in Las Vegas.It’s was cozy and relaxing.
Next time we’re visit The peppermill we will definitely be back to Romanza!

We came here to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. The restaurant looks very beautiful and the spinning statue in the middle of the restaurant is extremely beautiful. The table presentation and restaurant looked great. We were very disappointed on the food presentation. I ordered the pasta trio with the lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and fettuccine Alfredo. The presentation was very bad and most of the food on my plate was not very good. My husband ordered the chicken piccata and was extremely unhappy due to the under seasoned chicken and pasta. We provided this feedback to our wait staff, who then let us choose dessert to help offset our disappointment. The desserts were beautiful as you can see in the photo and tasted amazing. Unfortunately, we will not return to the Ramanza, But we will return to the Peppermill because that is a lovely hotel and worth every penny we spent.

Came here as a solo vegetarian. I did not try to find vegan at this restaurant, but I suspect it would be hard. Ovolacto has at least two solid options though. I had the mushroom parparadelle preceded by a Ceaser salad and bread basket. Bread is not free, but it is a large basket with a good selection and comes with oil and vinegar. All of the food was heavy. They like their cream and Parmesan! The salad was bigger than a side. It was good and had crispy romaine with a creamy sauce and thick shaved Parmesan. The parparadelle had a good selection of mushrooms and long thick noodles that had to be cut. It was heavy and salty. There was a good mix of mushrooms. All portions were large. Salad, bread and a main were too much for me and I’m a decent sized guy. If I was with my wife we could have split a salad, side and entree and been full. Overall I’d say it was an interesting fusion of fine dining and comfort food. I will say the staff is very friendly. I felt well taken care of. The decor is fun: a rotating statue, columns that turn into genuine torches, and a ceiling that has lights on the pattern of the stars. Hot towel and white chocolate truffles at the end was a nice touch. I spent about $60 before tip. Not bad for a casino restaurant.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here. Everything is packed with flavor from the breads to the pastas and they have an amazing wines by the glass list including pistachios and beam, and miner family Cabernet.
I had the cauliflower side dish with the spicy clam linguini and am craving more. Everyone loved their meals. Don’t walk to Romanza when you’re craving Italian food in Reno, run there. The decor is tacky, but the food and service is amazing.

My husband and I ate there on Wednesday and I’ve never had worse service. Our server ignored us for 25 minutes before even taking our drink order. I got the lemoncello martini and it tasted okay, but it smelled really bad. The food was alright but extremely overpriced for the quality. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

We ended up coming here for dinner last night after finding out it would be close to a 2 hour wait at Oceana. We love Italian food so it wasn’t hard to adjust on what we wanted for dinner. We came up and the hostess did inform us they were booked, however, the bar seating was open. We gladly accepted bar seating.
Our servers/bartenders (So sorry we forgot your names! One is a trainee though) were so welcoming and friendly! They provided good recommendations on drinks and food. It been a while since we came across such outstanding service! Honestly the best service we received from our trip to Reno this weekend.
Now about the food: they are generous with their portions! My other half ordered the trio (not pictured) and I ordered the Bolognese. We did an order of the salad to share. We barely made a dent in our food before waving the white flag. Both dinners were packed up to go and currently waiting for us to devour for dinner.
I highly recommend everyone to try this place out at least once – whether it’s for a date night or to grab a bite to eat. The staff alone makes it worthwhile.

We visited to celebrate our grandparents’ 67th wedding anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect spot. The food, ambiance, and attentive service were all exceptional. Jeremiah, our server, went above and beyond to make the occasion truly memorable. Our meal featured a delightful selection of dishes including the burrata salad, veal parmigiana, veal piccata scallopini, minestrone soup, and we finished with a decadent Amaretto ricotta cheesecake. Every dish was exquisite, making the evening one to remember.
