This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The one in North Olmsted closed so we drove to Akron to the restaurant there. The restaurant is tired. The seats are worn, the mirrors are dirty and smudged. There were fruit flies bothering us. The bread wasn’t fresh. The salad was OK. The chicken was overcooked. My coffee was cold, I was never asked for a refill. We were not offered water. This was once a great restaurant. It is well past its prime, it is a restaurant that is just hanging on. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews. The mirrors being dirty are a sign that no one cares or the restaurant is about to close.

Went to the bar while waiting for our table to be ready & the bartenders were super nice & attentive! When we got our table, our server, Jess, was absolutely incredible. She went above & beyond not only for us, but for the surrounding tables! As my partner & I were chatting, other servers were conversing with us & just had an overall friendly & welcoming energy! Incredible service. We loved everyone we interacted with instantly! The food was also amazing! Great quality & affordable! Great place for a date night! Bottle of wine, appetizers, entrees & dessert – all under $100!

What an outstanding place to have an event! The General Mgr Dwayne and his team deliver exceptional Customer Service!! They went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 30 plus with short notice. From the servers, cooks, bartender, manager they were very tentative and friendly. The food was very, very good and our guests were very impressed!! I would highly recommend having your next event here or go out for a nice lunch and or dinner. We will return. Not only for the food but quality friendly service. Thank You for a wonderful evening!

Eric did a great job as our waiter. He was calm but conversational and timely with our requests.
Food was great: I very much enjoy dipping their complimentary bread into their lobster bisque. Haven’t had a bad menu item yet. Bummer that their North Olmsted location closed, as that location was 15 minutes away and this location is an hour away from us; we only came because we had a gift card to use and the other location is now permanently closed. If you live nearby, however, it is a great choice.

It’s a shame this place is beautiful. I don’t know who thought putting paper on the tables was a good idea. The ravioli was freezer burned and tasted like powder for some reason. This could be great if they used fresh ingredients.

We had an amazing experience at Macaroni Grill last night! Our group of 20 people was no small party, but Eric, our server, handled everything flawlessly. He was incredible — friendly, attentive, organized, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed. Despite the size of our group, drinks were always refilled, orders came out correctly, and he kept a great sense of humor the entire time.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but honestly, Eric was the highlight of the night — everyone was talking about how great he was even after we left. It’s rare to find that level of service these days, and he made our whole evening special. Huge thanks to Eric and the Macaroni Grill team for such a memorable experience!

Great food – fabulous server, Lisa, made our night even more enjoyable . Place was pretty empty- not sure why . We had a party of five and all loved what they ordered . Be sure and save room for dessert … oh man, the chocolate cake is delish ! We will definitely be back – almost forgot … crispy Brussels sprouts – gotta get em !

Beautiful renovation! I had not been there in many years. Our server, Jess, was a joy! She treated us like good friends, personable and attentive. Food was fabulous, with many nuances of flavor–just like trattorias in Italy. Fresh vegetables cooked to perfection, not overdone, not from frozen. We had the stuffed mushroom caps appetizer, the grilled pork chop with mushroom risotto and broccolini, tiramisu for dessert–generous portion. The bar area had a table top fire going, that looked inviting. And their pizzas looked authentic Italian, thin crust. Will definitely go back!

Food was average. Fettuccine Alfredo was basically buttered noodles. Cinnamon does not belong in cannolis. Service was great. We captured or killed at least 7 gnats or fruit flies at our table, some of witch lost their lives in glasses of wine.
