One Thirty One Lameuse opened in Biloxi on July 1, 2021 with three primary goals: to offer a menu featuring both classic cuisine and regional seafood favorites but with surprising twists; to maintain a broad selection of fine wines and spirits to impress the most discerning patrons; and to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that is welcoming for locals and tourists alike. Located in the heart of Biloxi’s business and entertainment district, One Thirty One is a hub of activity, especially during the area’s numerous holiday and cultural celebrations. The establishment also regularly hosts events of their own, such as wine paired specialty dinners, dinner theater, gospel brunches, as well as featured musicians and visual artists.

The drink menu was also a highlight; don’t skip the Mimosa Flight with their house-made blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry mixers.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was outstanding. Our waiter, David, was attentive and knowledgeable (and a great photographer), ensuring our meal flowed perfectly. If you’re looking for creative dishes, high-quality seafood, and great service, we highly recommend this spot!
After reading such great reviews my fiance chose this restaurant as the place to take me for my birthday. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and guided to the second level. The place is very beautiful and cozy. The waiter was nice. He shared that although not on the menu, oysters were available. We immediately ordered some and they were DELICIOUS. They were served with small slices of toast. The toast were more like crackers and would easily break apart. We ordered the seafood gumbo. It was served in a tiny (about 8 oz) cup. The gumbo was salty and the seafood in it, primarily the (2) crab claws seemed to be spoiled. We also ordered garlic butter crab claws. They spelled like ammonia and tasted AWFUL. I mentioned it to the waiter and he offered to replace them with the fried version. We declined fearing that those too could have been spoiled and did not want to risk possible food poisoning. Surprisingly, we were still billed for the crab claws anyway.
We had 8:30 PM reservations for a party of ten and were seated on time, so we came in with high expectations for what was supposed to be a special New Year’s Eve dinner. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the evening.
After being seated, we waited an unacceptable 15 to 20 minutes before a server even acknowledged our table. When he finally came over, there was no warmth, no welcoming spirit, and none of the Southern hospitality you would expect, especially on a holiday and with a large party. He only took our order for water, which set the tone for the rest of the night.
When the food arrived, it was cold. For the prices charged, this was extremely disappointing and honestly frustrating. This restaurant is highly rated, which made the experience even more shocking because what we received did not come close to matching the reputation.
To make matters worse, we were the last table in the restaurant to receive our food. Overall, this was not the New Year’s Eve dinner experience we were hoping for. It lacked care, quality, and hospitality, and because of that, I would not recommend this restaurant.
