We stopped in last night for a quick dinner after a volleyball game in the area. We were pleasantly surprised that they were affiliated with Osteria Romana one of our other favorite restaurants. Pasta was absolutely delicious and is homemade, the special salad with arugula, apples, goat cheese and almonds was fantastic, and for my granddaughter the buffalo wings and the french fries were perfectly done.
The bar is somewhat limited on what they offer but a great selection of wines, sangria and beer is available. It just so happened it was a Wednesday night so they’re Crepes were only $5 and out of this world!
Open 7 days a week ……. we will definitely be back!

Night 2 in Trumbull and wanted something comforting…therefore, you can’t go wrong with Italian!
The food was delicious. I had fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was more aldente than I would have liked, but overall, still food.
The location is small. We were a group of 5 and it was compact. Also, there are only high top seats available, which is not accessible. As someone who is height challenged (I am short) the seats were very uncomfortable. As we were leaving, they were setting up for a larger group… I am curious to see how that worked especially with a normal Saturday night crowd.

We wanted something just simple and we chose here because it’s around the corner from our house and we’re feeling under the weather. We got chicken tenders and fries.. what am I looking at? They took a chicken cutlet and sliced it up. Not to mention, the chicken is dry and flavorless.. $14? For this?

I’ll give two stars because the margherita pizza was good , however the fettuccine chicken Alfredo was unseasoned garbage. Took one forful and almost threw up in my mouth. That went in the garbage wife claims it just needed to be seasoned and add some Parmesan if that’s the case then I’d rather make it myself. The wings were literally like Tyson’s chicken super small barbecue wings, $19 bucks for only about 5-6 the mozzarella sticks man nothing from this place can be fresh at all. I am not from here, but my daughter says the pizza was good. I should’ve known better if this is the best Connecticut has to offer don’t waste your time almost 75 bucks and only thing for was literally the pizza I’d never go back here again or would recommend any kind to go here.

Those mozzarella sticks were 14 bucks
And the fettuccine chicken Alfredo was like 25 bucks.

I normally call to order and pick up here as they are right behind where we live but today..because when I was there yesterday and noticed the prefix menu I said..”babe, let’s try there today” we’d normally go to Ecco or Corner Deli as we both only have a hour for lunch. We were the only people there besides one man who already ordered and received his food. Two other parties came in..one with a set of 3 women, the other..a party of 2. We ordered a panini and a personal pizza…I watched the kitchen…the orders that came in after us? Were in the panini press before ours…they were served before us. The “waiter/bartender”? He was soooo nice to them? Greeted them with a big smile..very accommodating..for both parties…for us? He just looked confused ..as if we were not supposed to be there. We kindly asked for our food to go and left….
I say all of this to say…if you are not white…this may not be the place for you…and because of this experience ? I’ll never even order a pick up from them again

Romanacci’s is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic, we enjoyed a delicious combination of pizza, salad, and a heavenly crepe for dessert. I can’t wait to return and try their tempting pasta dishes, which looked absolutely amazing. The service was top-notch too Ryan, our server. and the food runner/bus boy were friendly and attentive. Overall, a delightful dining experience! I will be back!

The food was exceptional and the service was amazing. However, the busser kept throwing the dirty plates in the dish tub right behind us and it created an unpleasant loud environment. Perhaps the tub should be moved into the kitchen to make a more pleasant experience. The tables were also crammed into a narrow walkway. The busser kept banging into my husband as he passed. Desserts were amazing though!

This place is a must-stop! Margherita pizza may be the BEST I’ve ever had. 3 of us ordered the lasagna and were wowed. (Photo is after cutting – hot!). Great service. Came here bc of a wait at Sitting Duck and this was a huge treat with our group. Highly recommend!!
