I enjoyed this place very much with its comfortable layout, well spaced seating and excellent food.
Katana serves sushi, teriyaki, ramen noodles and Asian food, owned and operated (according to my local sources) by a Chinese family. The inside décor is not ornate and gives one a comfortable at home feeling. The service was excellent, and food delivery was prompt, and the waitress was very courteous and helpful.
I especially enjoyed the lunch special tender beef teriyaki which came with a ginger sauce salad; the plating was excellent. Seafood lovers should consider the Sushi and Sashimi combo or the Grand Katana Boat, both of which are beautifully presented on a wooden boat serving tray. One member of my party had the sliced eel over rice with a soy based sauce which was thoroughly enjoyed.
For dessert, the mango sticky rice was excellent with sweetened coconut milk and homemade sugar and mango.
The pricing was reasonable. Definitely a great place to eat with a family friendly atmosphere.

The food here is amazing. They have a vast sushi selection along with a large variety of dishes. My personal favorites are the spicy edamame and spicy ramen. I haven’t left out of here disappointed yet!

I ordered carry out and had specific questions about allergy restrictions. Everything was answered confidently, which made me feel much better about getting food there. This place deserves 1O STARS!!!! the food was delicious… Shrimp and chicken fried rice!!!! OMG!!!!! I had it delivered after tasting a portion of my mom’s dinner the other evening. I can’t wait to visit and eat in the actual restaurant!!!!

The food and drinks were great. We really loved this restaurant for that. However, the service had a lot of room for improvement. The staff doesn’t seem to care about you at all and appears to have a terrible attitude. I saw the reviews before we went and have never seen so many bad reviews regarding service. I was hesitant to try because of that. My husband still wanted to try it and I’m glad we did because the meal was great. But the experience could’ve been made much better if the wait staff actually showed proper hospitality.

I have try ramen in different places but ramen at Katana is the best ramen in town, I highly recommend spicy ramen with hot oil. The chicken teriyaki lunch box is really delicious just like the videos I saw from Japan.

Katana sushi is the best sushi place you can find in baltimore. Last time I went for sashimi and I was surprised how fresh they were. The restaurant definitely provides high – quality fish. The sushi rolls under cook’s chef’s special are highly recommended. All of them are tasty. Overall, A perfect place to dine with friends and family.
