When I tell you this pizza is amazing that’s an understatement. Not saggy , not greasy, not too soft also not too hard. The pizza had the perfect crunch and the perfect texture. I had three different slices just to try out as I’m not a fan of vegetable on pizza. When I tell you the first bite convinced me that this is the best spot in my area I will be there all the time even if I have to drive over 20 mins. I didn’t have to wait for my food as it was done and heated in under 10 mins. Staff was super friendly and the location had a great parking spot.

Nothing fancy. Pizza was good. Cheese sticks were good. Marinara sauce was just ok. May go back. May not. A little more pricey than your typical PH. Staff was nice. No complications. Pizza was hot!

The pizza is amazing, having one of the best balances of cheese and sauce I’ve seen from any pizza place. The service is great, with extremely friendly people and the Italy murals on the walls are beautiful works of art and give off the atmosphere that makes the place just that much better. They made the pizza in less than 10 minutes, and the option to order by the slice is also super convenient. Saying this is one of my favorite pizza places is an understatement. I climbed the mountain and saw the peak, Roma’s Pizza in Lake Helen.

I grew up in the 80’s a little bit outside of Philly with great little mom and pop pizza shops. Kids playing video games in the corner with their bikes parked outside. My wife and I were at Lake Helen Cemetery doing some cleaning up and got hungry we past Roma Pizza on the way in and this little slice of nostalgia took me right back to my youth!! Delicious pizza and fries, friendly and accommodating people, and the charm that I missed from the 80’s!!

Ok, so I asked if they had Sicilian pizza, they responded quick with a yes.
I was looking for a Sicilian crust that is crunchy and airy/soft inside. I been looking for this for a while. Most just have a thick dense crust. Not this place, the Sicilian was AMAZING!. Perfect crust!!!! Great pizzeria atmosphere complete with the old school video games in the corner. Definitely how a real authentic pizzeria should be!. These guys are doing it right! Also very friendly!. I seriously couldn’t be happier I found this place. Please dont change a thing, you have a gold mine there!. Next to try is their chicken parm sub then their Alfredo.

We finally stopped at Roma Pizza in Lake Helen after driving past it so many times on our way to DeLand. The parking lot is always full, so we knew it had to be good—and it was even better than we expected.
The brothers who run the place are so nice, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It really does feel like you’re eating in someone’s home kitchen.
We tried a mix—pepperoni, cheese, a veggie slice with spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes, plus a stuffed slice that was like a calzone. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the garlic knots? Perfectly soft, buttery, and amazing with the marinara.
It’s easy to see how this place has a 4.9 rating—it’s well deserved. We’ll definitely be back.

No its a great pizza place. I was a local and ate papas pizza all growing up. Then these new people?! Awesome. Pizza by the slice. Tons of cool options. They have this like better calzone pizza. I get that all the time. I think its called stuffed pizza. People are just cool regular nice people.

This pizza is the real deal.
Crust – perfectly cooked and crispy, for a thin crust it did well holding three toppings and extra cheese without getting soggy.
Sauce – delicious my wife and I could not stop going back for more, the sauce is the secret here.
Toppings – plenty of toppings and all tasted fresh.
The setup in the restaurant is nice and clean. The Free Arcade is also a nice add-on for the kids.
Will definitely be going back for more!

So I am SO HAPPY, Lake Helen, has a GOOD Pizza place!!! (This is a review from about 2wks ago) We had friends come over, we got the mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, thai-chili boneless wings, large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, a chicken parm sub, and a cannoli. Mozzarella sticks were hot, fresh, and crunchy, the boneless chicken wings were crunchy, and the sauce was sweet and a little bit of a kick, delicious!!! The pizza was excellent! NY style!! The garlic knots, and chicken parm sub, were the BEST I’ve EVER EATEN!!! The cannoli was DELICIOUS!!! I will be returning soon!!!
