Unfortunately, we never had the opportunity to try the food. We drove down from Greenville after making a reservation earlier in the day. It was a special occasion, and we were both thrilled to experience a new restaurant, but that excitement was quickly diminished. We arrived promptly for our reservation and were shown our booth. After 14 minutes of several employees passing us and showing no concern for the new customers seated, we chose to leave and spend our time and money elsewhere.

We walked next door and were welcomed immediately. We went on to enjoy a fabulous meal with exceptional service at Moultrie’s Southern Cuisine.

My first time dining at this family owned restaurant and I enjoyed it. A variety of great lunch specials…economical and filling. I loved the panini with homemade pasta salad. Very cool location in the main town square, which is being renovated. Plenty of outside seating too. I’ll definitely be back.

First time going to Roma based on recommendations and they did NOT disappoint. For one person..it is a bit expensive but..it is a top of the line Italian Restaurant and no place in Laurens County, SC can even come close.
Parking…Roma’s is in the heart of the Laurens Square, there’s a lot of free parking near by most of which says 2 hr parking..no meters, so don’t know how they would possibly time it.
Food..Eggplant Parm Dinner. It came with the salad and bread. Had 3 layers of Eggplant smothered in melted cheese over spaghetti. The sauce had a nice texture and you can tell it wasn’t jarred sauce.
Service…They went above and beyond. So when I was there, there was an older woman who misjudged the step to the table area and she went down hard and I mean hard..sounded like a train wreck or a car came through the building. EVERYONE of the staff and customers went to help her…when I say everyone, I mean even the kitchen staff came out.
Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, they do have outside dining as well.
Eggplant Parm dinner with tip came out to 25.

I’ve only left a bad review one time ever, this is my second. We went to Romas for dinner and it was later in the evening and there were only a few people there. I ordered grilled chicken parmesan with feta and black olives. They served me breaded chicken with no feta and black olives. When we told the waitress she took the plate back and had it remade. By the time it came out (again maybe 8 people in the restaurant), my husband had already finished and his plate was cleared. As I tried to eat, the waitress was moving chairs and sweeping under the tables right next to us. We were floored that there was NO compensation at all on the bill. We paid full price. We always tip 20% or more but she received a 10% tip, which we felt was gracious under the circumstances. The food was good, but we won’t be back.

Friendly staff and excellent food! The menu has a ton of selections for just about anyone. The Fried Mozzarella Sticks were a great starter. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Pesto Chicken, it was delicious! Overall the restaurant was clean, not a huge fan of the dimly lit dining area but offered plenty of space for large groups. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area. Located in the square, along with lots of other unique shops.

Alway enjoyed Roma over the last years, but the quality is going down.
Pizza was super under cooked, dough was still raw when the server brought it out, cheese not melted. I send it back after I found our server talking with coworkers around the corner.
Pizza came back after 10 min same Pizza just now the basil was burned on top.
Kids cheese ravioli were 3 raviolis…3.
The fried mushrooms looked frozen, the water was running out while eating them.
It will be a while until wie try Roma again.

My husband, newborn and I went to Roma on Saturday evening. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We started with a side salad, then had the thyme bread as an appetizer. Our main meals were fettuccine Alfredo…I added seafood (scallops and shrimp) and my husband added pesto chicken. We ended with the crème brûlée cheesecake. The whole meal was amazing from start to finish. 10/10. We will be sharing with all our friends and will be back for more asap. ♥️

Great beer selection and I am writing this review in two parts.

If SC is where you spend most of the time this is a great 4 star – good atmosphere, good and helpful staff who works hard. Atmosphere is nice and friendly. The food is a Americana version of Italian.

If you are a world trailblazer go to the bar, enjoy the beer selection and get a pizza. The food is far from authentic – frozen then fried calamari/cheese sticks, pre cut up chicken ptarmigan in a bowl and Stouffer level manicotti. Left hungry.

Pretty good pizza! Thanks for hosting such a large group to celebrate the win of Stewart Jones. The waitresses were amazing and so patient with all the kids running around and with everyone standing. I appreciated everyones kindness and efficiency. Didn’t know about this place but will be back to try other food options too!!

Our first visit to Romas. Loved the atmosphere. We ordered Eggplant parm and Mediterranean platter. This is old world Italian. Molto bene. The eggplant was perfect, not that over breaded/fried amateurs use and I’d stack the Med combo up against and greek restaurant in Astoria, Queens.
Both meals come with salads and was glad to see a full bar. Can’t wait to go back and try something else!
